Organic tree question

I've gone between organics numerous times now.

I currently have sound planted, and 8th tree spot has toontanic ready to be harvested but because the other level 7 trees are sound I cannot.

Now the question is: Do I still have to wait the full 21 days to harvest ship tree or is it knocked back to 18 days if I replant drop?

I use sound soo much it's easy to earn 1 opera a day. Drop not so much. So any ideas here would benefit me greatly.

I also have a question about the gag trees. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Do you get the boost even if you buy it from the gag shop? Or do you only get the boost if you picked it off of your tree?

As for the second question...yes, you get the bonus whether you buy them or pick them.

I think you might be right, getting it in 18 instead of 21 days. I was thinking about how it is set up with the watering, and how fast it comes back when you water a dry tree. I think that the program would just wait until you had a pick-able level 6 tree, and then let you pick, as your level seven is already mature.

Actually it might be even less, it maybe 17 days, as you start getting the bonus the day before you get the actual gags. It would be interesting to see how that would effect higher level gags. Maybe I will experiment and see on a newer toon. I am sure that the rules for the lower levels are the same for the upper levels. If you didn't water one tree, like the level 3 for example, can you pick the trees above it the next day or have to wait until the three is pickable? That will answer your question, I am sure! I'll post when I can get back on the game and try it out, unless someone else already knows this answer.

It's 18 days because your level 7 tree is already grown.

Something interesting happened. My son had a "dead" trap tree, while the other trees were healthy. So I watered it (on his toon), and was able to pick a higher level gag tree immediately after! The first tree was still bent over, but I could pick!

I do think you will be able to pick that existing tree at 18 days, but please post what you actually experience. It is an interesting twist to explore.

As you have discovered, you cannot harvest a tree from the gag track that you do not have planted as a Level 1 gag, level 2 gag, level 3 gag, level 4 gag, level 5 gag, and level 6 gag.

I think you are asking this, if you dig up the sound trees how soon will it be for me to pick my Toontanic Gag?

Level 1 gag 2 days to have bonus, three days to harvest
Level 2 gag 5 days to have bonus, six days to harvest
Level 3 gag 8 days to have bonus, nine days to harvest
Level 4 gag 11 days to have bonus, 12 days to harvest
Level 5 gag 14 days to have bonus, 15 days to harvest
Level 6 gag 17 days to have bonus, 18 days to harvest
Level 7 gag 20 days to have bonus, 21 days to harvest

Now, the question has evolved to

Since I already planted my Level 7 drop, Toontanic, and it is blooming, when can I harvest it?

I never tested this scenario. I hope it is 18 days, but cross your fingers and maybe it is 17 days. I know you have to wait for the other trees to bloom and trigger the software and tell the program that you have planted and grown the previous tree.
