To grow the level seven gag, you must plant all the previous gags, 1-6. You should have one extra spot to grow a level one gag, I grow feather with each of my toons. It takes 21 days to get a level seven to grow enough to pick. (Each gag level x 3 days). If you remove a lower level gag tree, you will not be able to pick from a higher level gag, until that lower level tree grows back. If your gag bearing trees go brown from missing a watering, they will rebloom within two or three days. You don't have to wait the 21 days again. If you are replanting your trees, you must pick them first before you can remove them. The only exception is if you have removed a lower level gag tree. Then, since you can't pick the tree anyway, you may just remove it. So if you are intending to pick anything, do that before removing any trees! My advice, if you are just starting out with your toon, is try growing a mix of lower gag trees, like squirt and throw. It will help you along as you progress. Then when your ready to commit, choose your track. For example, on my second toon, I grew a mix of throw and squirt until I got wedding cake. Then I grew the whole throw track. Recently, I worked up my trap gag to level seven. I dug up my throw track, that was a hard thing to do mentally, and replanted the whole trap track. So now I just have a few more days until I can pick train. It was really great to have the wedding cake in the meantime, as I progressed through the levels. I find that having the lesser used tracks like drop and trap are nice for the level sevens, as I generate the sevens on sound, throw, and squirt rather quickly. Other players I know, like the boosts on the level seven and level six gags in sound and throw. It is up to you. Good luck with your choice! Lady Von Zippenberry / Baroness |
