A piece of advice

I think everyone should do the same color like cyan, yellow, or red. They seem to be having the most progress and the progress will move 3 times faster on that color. It's just an idea. Especially, for the eight combos, it will get harder.

The initial search will be across all flowers. The plan is to check the combinations with the least amount of different beans. As an example, below are some combinations that will be recommended to check first to anyone that requests a search combination:

RBBBxxxB
CRRRxxxR
YYYYxxxY

These are just 3 of the combinations that will be recommeded early on. There are only a small list of these that will be done and then I think that we will focus on one flower. Of course, everyone is welcome to search whatever combinations they think will yield a flower and we'll keep track of what they searched.

I read all the advice, suggestions, observations, and strategies I can find. The posts can be very long (hee hee) or very short, I read them all. Don't become discouraged, keep those ideas comming.

Ok thanks you guys. I just at first thought it woould get like 8 or 9 times harder for 8 bean flowers.

I'm just starting my seven beaners. You guys ROCK!!

I note that in the 7 bean combinations:

• Only one flower uses five different colors
• This same flower has one color that appears 3x
• one flower has four different colors
• This same flower has one color that appears 4x
• The other three flowers have three colors.
• one of these 3 color flowers has a color appearing 5x
• one has a color that appears 4x
• the last has two colors that each appear 3x

I'm guessing these color combinations are not random. Three of the five use only three colors!

If I were going to search through 8-bean combinations, I'd probably
take my sub-list and sort them by the number of colors used in the combinations. When I made it to the higher numbers of colors, I'd search the ones that had repetitions of a single color first.

Did I say that you guys ROCK?
