my trees are dead.

Are those watered fresh while they are "dead"? If so then just give them a day and they'll come back and a couple of days the gags will return too. If they "died" and were watered like they are now then send a bug report. Plants and trees only wilt when they aren't watered.

when i got there that's how they looked.
i know i didnt water them, so maybe i'll give it a few days. thanks! i tried watering them after and they didnt stand up. |

Just water them, the next day they will be better!

They won't stand back up until the next day. Check them tomorrow and you should see leaves on them again.

Flowers apparantly stand right back up when wilted then water.
However, trees take a day or so once wilted and watered to stand back up. |

Ours didn't take a whole day, we just logged out and logged back in and they were healthy again. It hten took 3 days for the gags to sprout again. We've had dead trees three times now and each time they perk up if we water them, log out, and then come back again. I think they look rather strange dead. LOL
I love the idea of letting them dry out intentionally for Halloween! |

I know you solved your problem, but...
Remember you need to have all previous gags in a track in order to have a tree on the higher end of a track. For example, in order to have a Whistle tree, you need a Bike Horn AND a Whistle tree. If the Bikehorn tree wilts/gets uprooted/whatever, the Whistle Tree will wilt. |
