What's Your Gardening Strategy?

How do you like to plant, pick, and sell your flowers? How many times do you water them? How many flowers do you plant? Post your gardening strategy here!

My Strategy

I start out by planting 10 flowers a day and watering each of them once. Then the next day when they're fully grown, I pick all 10, sell them, and repeat.

I always water my flowers (to get the water points), pick them, plant new ones, water those, then sell the picked flowers. I do this one flower at a time so I am not running in circles. I also train my doodle while I am gardening...multi-tasking at it's finest, lol

I personally like the first person's strategy, where you pick and sell all 10 before planting more. I had a friend who was planting flowers right after she picked them, and what happened is after picking and planting 9 flowers, she got the next shovel level (40 shovel points) after picking the 10th flower. Didn't get credit for the first 9 she planted.

I do the same as Queen Violet...I water all ten blooming flowers and all my trees once... then I pick my flowers ...plant a new flower and water it then move on to the next. When I have the maxxed can I will only water the new plants once and the trees when they need it.

Since I garden 2 toons at once (2 comps), I find it easier to pick all of them first, plant all of them, than water all two times.

Pretty much what I always do.

Red face Hmm...

I had no idea...

I used to (when I had my small wc) water 128 times a day...:whistling
10 flowers x 8 times per flower (the max for credit) +
6 trees (all throw) x 8 times per tree
= 128 times...

I'm actually VERY happy I did that, now with my large watering can, I can only water 2 times (It drives INTO MY SOUL when I don't do the max for any credit).

So that's how I used to do it.
