No skill up...dissapeared?

Anybody else notice this? When you water something to the max, the "No skill up" signal that used to pop up is gone!

Aggravating, but easy to get used to. Hope that add it back again.

I hated that in test. I assume it's that way on open now? I hope they bring it back..

Not only am I not getting the no skill up, I am also not getting my skill points. I will get skill points for my first 2 waters, then nothing. What's up with that?

This is covered in about 4 threads now.

The change was made to make the different sized watering cans actually mean something. When it first came out, small cans watered the same as huge cans. It took 8 waters to saturate a new flower.
Now, with each bigger can it takes less waters to saturate the plant.
Once the plant is saturated, no skill up.
What they've done is essentially make it so if you are dilligently trying to max flowers then you won't max your watering can until you're around lvl 7 flowers instead of lvl 3 like it is now.

Thank Mickey I'm not going insane... All of the sudden only 2 waters per (3 jb) flower & no "No Skill Up" text... Wish they'd warn us!

I have the large watering can.

I think they made a booboo because I can only water twice with it - the same as with the huge watering can.

Yes, there is a boo boo. If it is to be as stated in the toon handbook (so to speak, the players guide) then there should be a difference for the different stages of the watering cans. I am not finding that, some of my toons are at different levels, due to the fact that they get their cattlelogs on different days. On test my toon is 8 days out from 6 bean combos and she is maxed, but only waters twice. On open my toons with the large are only watering twice the same as the ones with the Huge can. Does anyone know what the Medium can is giving now???
I also had a friend on test tell me today that she is not receiving her shovel skill pts. This started yesterday after her update went through. She has reported to TT
