Watering can just got harder to max...

For those who are lazy to read today's updates (Of 9/28/06), the watering can just got a little harder to max.

Its not harder to max. If you have a huge can and you water a plant once, it wont die in a day, but you can get your 8 water points if you want. It doesn't do a big affect just get your points.

EDIT: Nvm your right it is only 2 times with huge. grrr.

It is true they cut down daily watering by 60 points. Water each plant before you pick it and each tree 1 time daily and and you can still get 38 watering points. Water other toons' gardens in your estate also .

I'm at 666 watering points.. I'm not sure if I want to do any more watering.




For the record though, you CAN water more than twice, even with the huge watering can.

I have huge can and I watered and it did not show any watering skill points with the 3rd watering. I've kept a daily diary in my userpage and I am not getting any more than the 38 points. Maybe it's just me? *shrugs*

I didn't say you would still get watering points, only that you could water it more than twice.

Ok so i was excited when i learned that bigger cans last longer for each water. It was originally thought that with the huge can, 8 waters cold last a month or so. Great for those of us who vacation and can't get on TT to water.

Now im gonna have to stress that whenI get back home all my lvl 6 gag bonus will be gone.

So is it or isn't the case that a single watering with a huge can lasts for (how many days did we say it was?) and we can STILL water 8 times for a total of 30 or so days without watering, even though we only get skill for 2 of the waterings? Does this make sense? I have pretty much maxxed my can so i am not concerned with the skill points. I just don't want to have to run around watering everything every day. So can someone please confirm what the longest amount of time can be without watering using the huge can?

I think its time to reinstate my call for sprinkler systems.

Nope. The cans just give different amount of water now. So, if you had the small can, you'd have 1-2 days of water. If you had the huge can, it would act like you just watered the plant 7-8 times. So in summary, you can only have plants watered for up to 8 days.

Yeah, I just noticed right now when I started watering my flowers. Atleast it means less time taken on our gardening and more on bashing cogs!

I was poking fun at the wording.

It's like the fact that once you max Sell, you CAN go through the factory still, but you won't get any more merits. I was saying that you CAN water the plants/trees more than twice a day. Along the same lines. I doubt that it would increase the time that they could go without being watered again (beyond the 2 waterings).

As far as wilting is concerned, I think that once you water a wilted flower, it comes back to life. As far as the trees though, I think they remain wilted, but I would have to do another test on that, since a previous one (not on purpose) gave me that impression but I have reason to believe that my deductions were wrong about it. (Please don't ask, I confused myself trying to explain it)

Nope, trees come back to life after midnight Pacific time passes around again, if the trees are watered.

I've wilted a tree before, takes a day to come back to life after watering... However, I am not certain if the tree has to start all over again or if it continues to grow from its previous state once watered. I am also not certain if it will come back to life after more than 1 day of wilting because I watered it right away after one day of starvation....

BTW, nothing happens when you hit 999 watering points... No horns, no confetti, not even a message saying, "Dude, you're like crazy with that can!"

Just so you know - the large watering can I was only able to water twice - the same amount as the huge can.
Disney has definitely blundered this update.
