January Contest: Mod Hunt

I just had fun... I am with Raiderfan, these Mods stood around for two hours waiting on each and everyone that participated. They even came up with something for everyone who played.

I had a blast!! It was way fun watching the ppl from TTC going into the buildings and seeing the mods out there giving back their time for us all to meet them.

Just remember.... Whine a lot and it will get you nothing and most likely ruin it for everyone else that just had fun.

My daughter and I were at the building when the contest began. It was a chaotic scene with the dawg father, he had to leave the premises to go outside because of the big crowd.

Although my daughter and I were not able to finish the contest, due to, she had a soccer game to attend to, we had an awesome, fun time. A great toontown bonding experience between mother and daughter.

I'm still talking about it to my family! LOL It was just so much fun. I'm still kicking myself for forgetting and oversleeping though! And for the Garfieldo bit! When it dawned on me where he was I felt so dense.

Raider, I actually don't think that complaints/suggestions ruin it for everyone. It gives the mods and admins something to think about for the next contest. This was the first time anything like this has been done, and feedback is very important for future events. No one here ever said they hated this contest and no one was nasty to any of the mods. We all worship them and had a blast and can't wait to do it again!

I would like to extend my gratitude to the MODs' for doing this. I had a phenomenal time. It puts a smile to my face, when I think of it.

I hope we can do it again soon.

But because they thinks its unfair how they determine the winners, its okay to be as sarcastic and ungrateful sounding about the fun we had? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck 9 times out of 10 its a duck.

Who said I was whining. Ever heard of constructive criticism? I was happy about this game, and I did have a lot of fun, and if you look back a couple of pages, you'll see that I did thank them (more than once). You're making it sound like I'm angry with the Mods. "Ungrateful"?...I'm going to just walk away from this...I don't feel like getting a warning for flaming.

They didnt determine the mod hunt by who finished first because some people cant teleport to all of the pgs so obviously it wouldnt have been fair. I really think the random drawing is an excellent idea for next time because a lot of people had to leave for errons, work, etc.. not to mention the lag everyone had to deal with when it was time to PM. It was a lot of fun and i'm glad i took the time to go - now im looking foward to the next event.

We're all really glad that so many of you enjoyed the Contest and we're hoping to have another contest that can be played in Toontown. We have no dates set for this yet so be patient.

We also appreciate feedback from you - it takes a lot of planning and organization to put something like this together and you learn what works and what doesn't work after the event is done.

Helpful, constructive suggestions are always taken into consideration for the next time we plan an event.

I'm just happy Toontown didn't crash on us ... it's not an easy task to get 11 people together on the same day at the same time! Trust me!
