Did you know? We have our own special place that we can all hang out and chat in! Except you! Na Na Na Na Na Na!!

Talk to friends, gather before and after runs for "in the pit fun", but most of all meet everyone you're playing with! So we know who to grief.

I'm trying hard to make the Cold Callers Guild Channel a safe and popular place for us all to be, away from the control of Disney and instead under MY control! Muhahahahahaha!

But please remember, the CCG room is G rated. Talk out of line, and you go looking for your contacts in Daisy's Garden.

it was suggested to me by poppy the cat to come here today before we go in for the craning practice.

I AM NOT seeing anywhere that it says "enter live chat".

Can someone help me? This is like deja vu to me. Same thing happened to me with XD.

Right hand side of the TTC home page is where you can enter. It says Live Toon Chat and there's a link to a "How To" if you have problems. Give yourself a nickname such as MissFlipFlipperfoot and hit the button. It won't allow spaces between names, but you can use underscore if you want between words.

I got a couple of the mods to add a mirc guide to the wiki to help us out with everyone joining. http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/MIRC_Guide I believe they still have images and stuff to add, but it's a nice start to help people with. Java program we have on the front page is pretty limited so I would suggest using the mirc program to chat with incase you plan on chatting on the CCG channel daily.

Glad to see people joining and having fun chatting in there again. Channel has been fairly quiet for some time now. Remember, it's a lot safer chatting in our channels than it seems chatting with SFs on TT these days.

Thanks Batleth - personally I use mIRC rather than the Java program, just what I'm used to.

Anyone wanting to join using mIRC, the download is free, just do a search for mIRC and download the appropriate version.

Ok, I"m a luddite, essentially, so my understanding of this is reeeaaallly limited. There is no option for me to click on the TTC front page. I've looked at it for 5 minutes - it isn't there. Do I need to follow the mIRC instructions? They seem pretty complicated. Anything easier? This sounds like a good idea, but I'm lost.....

LOL, it's really not that complicated. Trust me if I can set it up, anyone can. It's not really any different to installing any other program.

You can do it Craig...just pretend you're installing Yahoo or MSN messenger, lol.

No clue why you're not seeing the option on the front page though. Right hand side, "Live Toon Chat" in a little box?

and the good thing is, it only takes 3,472 K of memory (about 41,000 less then Internet Explorer 7, viewing this page only)

it took me like, 30 minutes from clicking on the link for the first time, to just now

For anyone using McAfee... our default was set to disallow IRC chat. You have to right click on the McAfee shield in the taskbar and choose VirusScan Console. From there, choose Access Protection and uncheck Prevent IRC Communication (both). HTH someone!

Thirty minutes? I feel like maybe I did something wrong...

I clicked on the link, clicked run, clicked on the red "Cold Callers Guild" button...and was in the chat room. A matter of seconds, really...

I have a (not exactly terribly simple or attractive-looking) window that's blue, white, with a touch of orange. Font is very small...and there's really no place that explains what to do or what anything means. (Other than, of course, the nice CCGers who are in the chat room!) Is this right?? And thanks for letting us know about this--very cool, assuming I'm in the right place!
