OK...I was able to get on chat with old computer, but for some reason with new one all I get is a blank orange box when I try to get on. I have Java. I downloaded mIRC. I tried that using #coldcallersguild but that didn't work. Now I have absolutely no clue what to do. Help anyone?

I've just found mIRC??? It's loaded on my pc and I have a pretty little symbol thing - but how on earth do I get it to show the ccg channel???

Please remember I am a total incompetent neanderthal where computers are concerned (and many other things, too)...

lol i didn`t know what mIRC meant. but i used it many times before hahahaha. i never understand this but what does the + mode mean?

I am not sure if your question was ever answered or if you ever got into the chat channels. We have an excellent guide here for setting up mIRC. It's also very possible that you can't get on with java because your anti-virus software is blocking it. If you are using McAfee, find your virus scan console in your system tray at the bottom right of your computer (by the clock) and RIGHT-click on it and choose Virus Scan Console. Then find Access Protection (double-click) and find the options for "Prevent IRC Communication" and deselect those. McAfee defaults to disallow IRC so you have to tell it you want to. It even blocks IRC through Java. Feel free to send me a pm if you continue to experience bad luck with the channels.

There's also an extension on Firefox you can use for IRC if it has not been mentioned. PM me if you want more info about it cause Im not sure If im allowed to say what it is in the case of advertising

i just signed up for your guild a couple of hours ago i log in to toontown almost every day so i'm always available to chat in fact heres an sf code i just now got off the game

oh and i'm also coming to tonights vp run at 10 est if you guys dont mind i've read all the rules and i know how to work together in vp waves 1 and 2

I may look a bit noobish but i used to play toontown alot until i forgot my pass when i was playing bossbot lawbot and minigolf werent even out yet!(not to brag or anything just saying)

Note the case sensitive capitals and lack of spaces.

There are other channels, but I've found that our CCG channel always has somebody chatting about Toontown and gags, runs, interesting playing ideas so I highly recommend it.

It's fun to be able to freely chat with people. My friend's list is full and all these great members who I'd like to add to my list, just won't fit, but if we are chatting together in our chatroom, it doesn't matter that my list is full.

Double clicking on the name of somebody else in the room opens up a window for private chat which works just like whispering to an SF on TT.
