Switching gears for a change
I'm gonna switch gears here in this one post. I know most of you toon in to these reports to see where my twisted mind is taking us all this time. This post I'm going to go back in time about 5 years. A time that touched all of us and made us realize how fragile each and every one of our lives are. I know alot of you are tired of this being brought up year after year and believe history is.....well.....history. I just thought a few of you would like to see the other side of my mind. The following is something I wrote while glued to the television that terrible morning in September and finished editing a few days later. Hope you all enjoy it.
Did You Succeed? By: Darrell ******* - September 15, 2001 Why can the acts of so few affect so many people? Now that I sit here and think of the events That you have brought into my life I can't help but to wonder Did you succeed in your plan? Are you now happy? Are you enjoying the sense of insecurity and hopelessness That you have brought into my life? Yes, You know this same feeling well It has to be the same feeling you had so many times before The feeling that you thought justified your horrendous plan To bring us down to your level Well let me tell you this! No feeling or cause in this world justifies what you did Thousands of lives are now gone due to your heartless act Millions of lives now feel that loss deeply How can you sleep at night? All the names you have never known All the faces you have never seen You hands now touch their lives forever You have made a country that was split by races, creeds, and religions Stand together as one So tell me now Did you succeed? Has our way of life crumbled like the buildings that you attacked? Just turn on your TV and see what you have done See? There among the concrete and steel that litters the streets of New York See us down there? Working together as one to clean up what you have done All races, creeds, and religions down there together hand in hand Come to think about it, do you see what I see there? ONE race, ONE creed, ONE religion Do you see it? Human Did you actually think that this country full of minorities would fall? Give us more credit that that We are much stronger than you realized Now turn the channel on your TV See standing there with us in other countries around the world? Yes, Its that same race, creed, and religion The human race that you seem to fear so much by the actions you took Who is the minority now? Can you sleep now looking at what you did? Are you still satisfied with your acts? Did your succeed? Because of your actions our new building will be stronger Because of your hands our lives are also stronger Was this your plan? Did you want us to stand as one? Will if it was, you have done that Somehow I doubt that was your plan I think your actions were evil but who am I to judge? You will be judged and sentenced soon enough By the world that you attacked so needlessly Now this event will be recorded in history forever And as I tell my following generations about it It will not be about YOU and what YOU did to all of our lives It will be about how WE as a United World Pulled together as one in a great time of need And how we stood strong against a common enemy An enemy against the human race and brought him to justice For his cowardly acts Disney, Toontown, The CCG, and anyone else not mentioned, are registered trademarks belonging to their respected parties. Toontown Eyewitness News
Today in the swimming portion of the annual toontown triathlon, Treading Water unleashed an enormous burst of speed in the last 40 meters edging out the number 1 and number 2 winners from last year. The Judges said "Skirt or no skirt we will be testing for elevated levels of testosterone."
Below we have the photo taken at the finish line. Our reports show that Boom Boom McGee exploded after attending Pixanator's class on how to siphon gasoline from cars sitting in Goofy's Speedway. Rumor has it that he was last seen trying to light a cigarette while getting in his car. For the first time in the history of toontown, DWI charges have been filed. The shocking story here is it was not one DWI charge but rather six filed in a period of only 3 minutes. Upon digging farther into this story we discovered that all 6 were present in Pixanator's class. Another case of identity fraud in in our midst. It seems that there is a 16 laff yellow duck going around with all the credentials of our well known friend Marshmallard. WE had the privilege of secret friending this imposter after the yellow duck spat out phrases like a pro. After a brief conversation we learned that this toon is in fact a 13 year old kid playing on his parents computer. Be careful of this toon. He is to be considered armed with cupcakes and extremely dangerous. Disney, Toontown, The CCG, and anyone else not mentioned, are registered trademarks belonging to their respected parties.
