King Supernerd - Quad Running

Well... People said i should put this on the site as a topic to follow along with.

I have no idea the time frame when I decided to run my toon this way, Nor any of the consequences or joys that it would bring.

It started when I hit my first 5500 on Sellbot HQ, and I was only two run away from my first 8900 on Cashbot HQ. I decided to start running the suits all together. At that time, it just left my Lawbot suit at a paltry Back Stabber level 6. I did one more CFO and 18 straight CJ's to catch all four suits up to the Level 12 suits on the top cog.

So, that started the tripple maxing project. I kept all three suits together for every run. I would fill up all the Merit/Bucks/Notices before I did any of the bosses. Then I would do all three bosses (normally with the CCG) before filling up for the next level.

I got all the way past those large numbers on level 12 and on level 14 and kept the suits together all the way to level 19. I got through about half through the merit/bucks/notices on that set and then BBHQ came out.

So I sprinted. and sprinted. and sprinted.

3-06-08 - Got my Boss Suit after a fun filled morning of running to Shep's
4-01-08 - I got my level 19 suit for BC.

So now it was 5500 merits, 8900 Bucks, 14400 Notices and 23300 Options.
Most of these I had already from before the sprinting in BBHQ.

From here on out I kept records (Thanks to Danny's BBHQ Top Toons).

4-06-08 - Level 20
4-08-08 - Level 21
4-11-08 - Level 22
4-17-08 - Level 23
4-19-08 - Level 24
4-??-08 - Level 25
4-23-08 - Level 26
4-26-08 - Level 27
4-30-08 - Level 28
5-02-08 - Level 29 - only day I didn't get all 4 on same day-the great outage
5-05-08 - Level 30
5-06-08 - Level 31
5-07-08 - Level 32
5-09-08 - Level 33 - KO'd twice in CFO last night with River Randoms (and two friends)
5-12-08 - Level 34 - Took two days off (Anniv and Mom's Day)
5-15-08 - Level 35 - Did three of them yesterday, but between real life and no one in ceo's, didn't get the ceo until today.
5-17-08 - Level 36 - Did all four of the runs today. Everything went fine, quick and easy.. wow. Got a gag up trap (trapless) a Sid Sonata and Cog Call.
5-19-08 - Level 37 - Runs went just fine. My wife Preciousknees maxed sell during that run.
5-23-08 - Level 38 - Standard Runs... first four set done from a different state (we're on a mini vacation)
5-27-08 - Level 39 - Vacation over, back home finally, Mr Hollywood invasion also over.. yeah!! 52,100 lawtion meribuxs to go
5-31-08 - Level 40 - Quad point (actually took until the morning, but was done before i went to bed.) I'll post a link to the run reports soon.
6-02-08 - Level 41 - Nothing spectacular
6-04-08 - Level 42 - Did all but CJ last night, CJ this morning. Great runs, 10 tu unite and franz this go around
6-04-08 - Level 43 - Did them all tonight, got a max tu unite and a restock throw card.
6-08-08 - Level 44 - Did two on Sat, two on Sun, now it's behind me. On to 45
6-10-08 - Level 45 - Did VP last night - see post below for special congrats and notes on history in the making!!
6-12-08 - Level 46 - Forgot to post this one and had to look through logs!
6-16-08 - Level 47 - 3 more!!!
6-18-08 - Level 48 - 2 more!! Got another Max TU and used an 80 TU to help a new toon in CJ. we all danced so well worth it!
6-20-08 - Level 49 - 23300, 14400, 8900, 5500 - Do i need to say more.. oh yeah.. LAST TIME!!
6-23-08 - Level 49 - Meribuck notions are done at 3:10 AM..
6-28-08 - Level 50 - Yeah.. I'm done with that! Thanks to everyone... a couple of the people offered to do reports, and they'll get linked here in the future!!

Thanks to all of those that have either wished to go, or gotten stuck on one of my runs. It's been a blast.

Actually, you may be the first to quad-max. If someone had left all of their suit levels at level 49 that means they would still have to complete all of BBHQ(Basically) to max all four on the same day. And I highly doubt someone left ANY suit at level 49 on a main toon, which would mean they might not even be working that toon right now.

So I think you have a good chance of being the first quad-maxer. Good luck bro.

As one of those stuck on some of your runs:

I recall a conversation you and I had on the first day of Boss on open. It was late in the evening. A number of us had suits by then and had gone on an escort run of sorts to the CEO with those on the IRC channel. They had been doing Boss on test and were now working to max their favorite open toon as fast as possible. We knew of your triple max by then, but when asked if you were going to quad max ... and you really couldn't answer as Boss hadn't been open, my guess is you considered it seriously the first time you hit the rack that night... or was it before then ?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Wow, good luck with that. I'm hoping to be able to do the same on my next toon.

My only question: Are you going to make one maxing thread for all of them, or 4 separate ones in each sub-forum? Either way, it's gotta be fun and hard, not to mention time-consuming, to do it all at once. Let us know when you're close to maxing, ok?

Well even after the first 3-4 CEO's I did, I still wasn't sure what direction I was going to go in. My first inclination was to not do it at all anymore. With the level of Unites that it seemed to take to do CEO runs at first, I thought it would never happen unless I rushed Cash first and went on a Unite spree.

My first CEO, I went sad within 5 mins. I had no right being there, lol.. Lost my 7's and decided to do boss until I won (thus not loosing the backups). The second CEO I disconnected, the third one I alted on and the fourth one I finally won. All the unites I had were gone in the first one. I was doing CEO's because they were new, not because I needed to catch up the boss suit. It wasn't until about 10 or so that I finally made the decision, and yes, people were asking me a few times a day what I was going to do. So.. 46 CEO's later, I got a break from the CEO, and let me tell you, I finished all the other merit type things before doing another CGC, and I did all the other bosses before doing the CEO.. I needed the break.

I haven't decided if I should put it here or in each subforum. If I do the latter, I'll have to check with a mod and make sure it's ok. You know how they can be

That sounds tough. I tend to stick with one suit and keep at that one, I could never be patient enough to keep even with them all.

After two, yes two CFO KOs in River last night (lost 7's, but never regenerated backups), I went to bed and got up and went four bosses straight. Suits are now at Level 33.

Got that oh so useful Gag Up Heal, and another miss card, non invasion summon and 2 Pink slips (Took 3 to get the two I think)

Alrighty then.

For those that are interested, I'm sitting with a Gag Up heal, 4 Invasions, 2-Toons Hit, 2-Cogs Miss, 1-5* Lure, 2-3* Lure, 1-Flippy 5* TU, and 1-4* Trap.

So 9 Card total..

The only person I can think of that has all suits at 49 is Vick on his King Monty. Hes not working boss though on that toon though so you're in the clear. Sounds pretty cool, good luck.

I dunno Jordan, did a few two toon CEOs tonight. Seems rather easy to run two through Boss. We shall see soon I guess, but trust me King Monty is up to something much bigger than a Quad Maxing...

Got my 34 suits today. Took a couple of days off for our Anniv and Mothers Day. 16 more to go.. I'm getting anxious and want it now ..

Wow, first attempt at CJ, started with 8, lost two to DC in cog round, lost two more in evidence. Four were left and we battled for all it was worth. Lost another one to hammers and the last three stuck around for about 20 mins, but ended up loosing ground, so we (I first) alted. Regrouped with the CCG run and it went smooth as silk.

Got em done finally. I was all ready at 2pm yesterday, but missed the CCG CEO. After taking the girls to ballet, I got on and waited for a few friends, who ended up having real life stuff and not making it, and at 11 there was no one in River to do it with (checked 3-4 times and no more than 5 toons at a time there, I could of waited for others, but get really bored at that, plus my own real life stuff left me on one loading.)

So the early bird CCG CEO had 2 toons, so River was the answer this morning. Had a touchless River CEO, and that's a first.. I've gone touchless, just not with river lag.

That also went along with a touchless CFO and a 3 man VP (was 5, uber ko'd, someone dc'd or alted). I was on the side by myself for the skellies and backstunned him down the ramp while they knocked him back. I was kinda proud, tossed my presentation and was able to use the remaining clouds for 9's, cakes for 10's, piano's for 11's and fire's for 12's. Used a guyser also to get ride of 3 10's and a 11 at the end. If it wasn't for a hidden level 8 and needing to use two fogs to kill it, i wouldn't have gotten hit at all on the single sided work. I went to the double side to help them finish even. Was kinda ironic, they were telling me to hang in there and I went to heal them up.

Was a learning run for sure...

Kinda a ho hum set of runs.

VP was straight forward, took my niece along and she ended up being 3 man'd on both parts, for a first time toon, cc2 and a 40ish laffer, she did really good working with the bigger toons. Got a Sid Sonata out of it.

CFO was with the new TyeDye group, great job on getting that setup and your forum. It was quick and painless, and rewardless (Gag up trap)

CJ was a nightmare but simple, all gavels, all cogs, no bonus weight for me, but I found a spot I couldn't get slammed and quickly finished (6 BW 50's and another small toon besides me at 35.) 11 toons were seated at the jury. Reward, my biggest summon of all, a Legal Eagle, but a Cog Summon, not a building or a invasion :/

CEO was smooth and easy, went in 8 man and came out 7 (there was a large lag after the feeding as someone alted or dc'd. They didn't show up in the second set of battles. had him red in no time, golfless except for one toon who stoped after a min or two..

Well on to the merits..
