I quitted toontown year ago with the exact same reason (I call the customer service to cancel my account). I got bored that everyone seems to be mean to each others and you can't get on the elevator with full confident.

However, I came back with a new thought, just enjoy the game. Whenever I ran into some bad toons or get involveed i bad sit. I just log out to do something else and come back whenever I feel like playing again.

I suggest to go with CCG and just stop when you think you have enough. You will enjoy toontown again.

I finshed all my toontasks before I started in the factories. That way I was maxxed in my gags and could pull myself through a tough group of cogs. When I started in the HQ's, I went with the CCG. I went on their training runs also and I learned alot. Unfourantly, there will always be people that are only out for themselves. I am a team player and thats one of the reasons I like this game. When u get together with a great team its a blast. Perhaps its time to get some new friends who play the same way you do and want to work the HQ's. That way when you need merits or whatever you will still have a good group to go with. I'm available if you r looking for new friends. I play on weekends and from about 11 to 4 AM est. Just pm me. I owe it all to the friends and acquaintances I have met will ruining with the CCG. Although waddling isn't my favorite way to get around. I am starting to feel more accomplished thanks to all of you who are willing to work together as a well functioning team.

Well I haven't even went to the CEO and I have my boss suit.It's frustrating for me because I'am a 108 laffer who is only a level 3 coldcaller.My advice:Take your time.It's not a race and you will get there eventually.I would do all my tasks first and then get some tasks that say defeat 100 cogs in the VP or something so you can get 2 rewards.Focus on one HQ at a time.You can if you want,do a little V.P and then focus on some toontasks.Finnaly join the CCG!There is no shuffling,no stinking,and no other annoying things!

Aww I can't believe some higher-laff toons are so mean. I went sad in my first few VPs because no one bothered to toon me up. So now, in VPs, I always check other toons' laffs and toon them up if they need more laff points.
