A bad factory and mint back to back....

Time for a little whining....I have never been griefed before and today was my first time. It stinks.

The factory was first. I went with 2 other toons for merits and at the last second a big headed cat jumped on. After battling the first set of cogs we went through the doors and turned right and went on to battle. The other 2 toons already said they needed more merits so we all knew what to do. The big head never showed up. We finished off the cogs and headed to the boiler room only to find Mrs. Big Head exiting through the doors after killing the cogs. Everyone stated again I need more merits and headed for the Pipe Room but of course big head headed for the warehouse. We all turned and ran after her with a lot of you stinks being said (although not by me). We finished the cogs and headed for the silos and wouldn't you know it she chose the other silo. We sounded through quickly and and stepped on the switch then went and waited by the door to the foreman. One toon went to stink her but I told him wait here so she didn't get a chance to battle the foreman without us. In the end we got lucky and finished off the foreman while there was an invasion but I felt so bad for the other toons. I only needed 200 merits (ha ha big head) so I still won but the other's didn't even come close. I kept telling them sorry I felt bad for them.

After that I headed to the mint trying to get my bucks. I found some toons to go with and everything was good. I started getting a bad lag while in the mint but we made it to the end. There wasn't an invasion so we waited. Well I guess my computer decided to lag and the same time the invasion started. When I came out of lag I rushed to the toons just in time to watch them lure and wedding cake! I felt so bad. I can't believe how bad it felt to watch them do that and then dance and I was just stuck there waiting to join the battle. I guess I am just too sensitive. Boo hoo hoo! Cry baby here. I couldn't even write about it I just sent myself to bed. Looking back it wasn't that big of a deal but at the time I felt awful. I guess I am a baby. LOL

The Factory - well, what can I say? Sometimes toons that go in there just want to be mean. I've had toons try to lure others on the run away from the Centre Silo (Follow Me / tries to lose other toons / heads back up to fight the foreman) so they can finish the run alone and have everyone else miss out. Sorry - but I just don't understand what they get from doing that?! It's just plain mean.

Worth noting though, in some cases a toon might just be in one heck of a hurry! Maybe they have people waiting to VP and just need a few more merits - who knows. All I'd say to that is that if it were me, I'd go solo rather than hopping onto someone else's 'vator.

Anyway - I had a stinky VP run last night, so you weren't alone in having a bad night in Toontown. I did get through a CFO in one piece afterwards though - phew! (I may post about this particular VP later, because I want to hear what others think about "when it's okay to bail and when it isn't).

I've had my fair share of stinkers, but I'll say this: There has always followed a good day to make up for it

That's the thing. If I am in a hurry or just don't feel like shepherding a group of low laffs through the factory, I go by myself (often through the other door). If you get on the elevator with other toons you are making an agreement to be part of a team.

as for the mint dont worry, its happend to alot of people. I wouldnt worry about it, Just go other mints and stuff

Well at least, the cat didn't go and finish without you, that's happened to me, We finish all the cogs, come to warehouse beat that, and their battling the center cilo, he ended up winning.

That stinks!!! I've had that problem before in the mint, well, my toon was asleep when the invasion started, but the toons were awesome enough to push me into the battle.

You survived your ToonTown initiation! Have a good cry. Tell yourself: "It's JUST a game!" Get more gags, and go back at it. If it were not for very good friends on ToonTown who would show up, dust me off, push me to the gag shop, and go back in with me...I would never have been able to max sell and cash. It takes a lot of determination. Don't let the MEAN toons get you down! Hey we need a phrase like that..Call Disney!

Oh sweetie you know me better than that. I hate to solo. I find is so boring especially when I can run with someone like you! She didn't need more merits when she danced I saw her merits were full. She was just a griefer trying to ruin a run.

After I posted this I promptly went back to the mint and finished my bucks. I'm not one to let anyone keep me down. You have to keep smiling. As I read it now I just laugh about it. It seems so silly to have even let it bother me. New day positive outlook! Maybe I'll go VP tonight and get my first laff boost!
