Stunless CJ - Run Feedback

Talk about how your run went.

The problems you had in your group, how to improve, how to improve the organization, etc. What went wrong, what went well, talk about it

Only problem we face was people jumping off the elevator at the last second. Would have been fine if #7 #8 had just gotten off to make two teams of 6, but when two others jumped, that left us with 4. Thankfully Ladybug hopped on giving us 5 and the other 7 waiting in the lobby to go after us. Didn't turn out bad, we had awesome teamwork and I somehow managed to seat 5 jurors. So, we had a great run despite being short

When we were in the lobby after you left people kept jumping on and off and I was getting so angry so it took us like 3 extra minutes then needed. Please people STAY ON THE ELEVATOR!!! Thank you that would be all .
And my golly you unmaxed toons the 120 laffers had you covered you didn't have to stand in the corner and waist time tooning up when we had you covered!

We had 8 in our group ( the first group to load). If anyone reads the first page of the thread for this event, they can see that we are supposed to pack the elevators and any leftover toons should wait for the next group. Pity no one reads the stuff that Blinky spends hours writing.

Anyway, ours didn't go as smoothly as it should have. I think it took about 20 minutes. I don't know if it was me or TT that was having issues, but at first I only saw 8 cogs and I didn't have a message about bonus weight. Eventually, I saw a 9th cog appear, never saw a tenth. What's up with that?

Ours wasnt too great. We sat 11, good. But the scaleing round was much too long. It was very crowded, and could tell people were nervous. I would like to point out the correct way to tu. You tune the person while the are hitting the scale. There shouldnt be people in the corner tuneing eachother up. Also, I would like to say that 30 and under in my opinion is the proper time to get a tune up. Not your high 70s.

No. I mean one toon NEEDS TO HIT THE SCALE, while the other toon throws evidence at the toon who needs a toonup. It is in the instructions.

I had a bonus weight of 3, I believe the largest out of the team, although I messed up a bit in the cannons. This was a learning experience I'm sure.

If you are below 20 laff, don't be afraid to just stand by the evidence box thing, and just say I need a TU, you don't have to go out in danger of gavels. Even if it's 40 laff. I had a bonus weight of 3, I was trying to get you all to TU each other to full laff. I wanted to let you know I wouldn't mind. It's what would have worked best That's what "I have a bonus weight of 3.", "I think you should choose toon-up" was all about.

We're all learning new things each run I guess. That's what it's about. Good luck if any others plan to go again

You all did great Glad we won

Well two runs down tonight for myself.... I had lots of fun on both, and everyone survived. IMO, much smoother than traditional runs, both in cogs and scale round.

The second run seemed to go better than the first, even with Anita playing ping pong with the gavels for a bit, and that was with just four people. Although, LCT got down to 1 laff, so I resorted to tooning her in the corner where the evidence was readily available (so sorry I know that's against the rules) and thanks CcE for pulling out that tu unite.... you saved her. I would have gladly used one of mine, but both LCT's and Anitas were used on the first run.

I don't remember the toons from the first, but heres the second....

I got Mingler invasion from our first run and Baron invasion from second. Are people going for a 3rd?

Oh, and cannons.... I wish that more toons would adopt the waiting until 25 - 30 seconds idea. Makes for many more toons on the jury!

We must've been posting at the same time. I also had a bonus weight of 3! I'm comfortable playing and putting myself out in danger until I'm in my low 30s or maybe even high 20s, then I start to get a little nervous. I'm not sure how others felt, but the friend playing Cuddles got so low (1 laff). She said it was a rush and a lot of fun! I know I had a blast as well and got some great invasions. Thanks!

Looking forward to next time....

Owoooo! You had a bonus weight of 3, ahh. Wasn't sure who had a bonus of what. Sometimes it's just better to do whatever it takes to survive. I wanted you to go in the corner and just start TUing. I was at about 30 or 40 laff, so I thought maybe you all should TU each other back to full, than I'll have my turn At least we won See you all later! Had fun.

Since I am a total newb at this, I was too nervous to take good notes. But I remember a few things from the 3 runs I did:

In the battle rounds, we had some trouble with overlapping sound (two fogs when one needed, two operas) and waiting to pick gags, but I don't think anyone was annoyed by it.

I was in the first run to go (8 toons). The panning stage felt long. Can't remember how many toons I seated. I used one tu unite. At least one other tu unite was done.

In the second run (6 toons), I got a bonus of 3! That was a first for me, so I was excited about it. Just wish I was better at avoiding evidence. I did one tu unite right before we won, so it was a waste. Lol! Oh well!

In the last (7 toons) I got a bonus weight of 1 and had a horrible time avoiding the evidence and gavels for some reason. I think that run went pretty fast, though.

Overall, I liked doing the stunless cjs. Everyone was very nice. I am looking forward to doing more and getting better at avoiding being hit by evidence.
