Now I remember....

I now remember why I run my uber with the CCG only on weeknights late....I had assumed incorrectly that the 11:30 Saturday night run was safe from lunacy...

After VP where there was constant gag working (trap door), going for whatever cog showed up, not tuning up a toon before taking out the last cog in the first round, using a magnet instead of your goggles on the 12s and 11s...and using sound (oh, did I mention it was a bike horn) on 8s and 11s with a 26 and a 64 present..) - thank goodness I have a fog...and then being told to "relax" when I had suggested multiple times to "lets go for the same cog", "you take right", "lets use throw" "please"...oh yeah, and then I got to go check out my toes in the PG....

I don't mind losing when people actually indicate some semblance of teamwork (Ok, I mind, but sometimes things simply happen) - but other than the other uber on my side in the skeles (Chasen Kats) there was simply no teamwork. If we had worked the skeles as a team, we never would have had two unlured ones half way through who swept us back to the PG...

Are we certain that keeping the CCG VP in a constant green district is such a good idea? With the change to the schedule we will have to make for BBHQ, maybe we can please change the VP district? Neither of the offending toons is listed as a CCG member....so obviously no amount of posting about it here will help.... (they were a 110 and an 82)

Anyway - anyone wanna CFO for a while?

Craig

I wanna marathon! (Time for me to head to the complaint department so I can moan and groan)

Oh and Craig...are you joking about a Saturday night? You've got to be dear! Sunday night possibly, but definitely not on a Saturday.

Just for kicks I went back through the polls- does anyone realize it's been over a year since we did a district swap? The time between the switch to Funnyfield and the switch to Boingy Harbor was three months.
Please can we put this up for a vote?

No vote is needed.

There will be a district change when the new schedule comes out. Just hold onto your shorts.

Just remember, when we change to the new district, it will also become a green district, just like all the others have when we changed. There is not a way for us to get away from the randoms.

On a side note: your Saturday 11:30 pm run must be the same as our 8:30 pm run in the Pacific time zone. We're just getting started with the fun !

Red face

hey, i thought the fun of an uber was in the challenge, not in being babied through it by big laff toons! the high chance of going sad is the whole point, i thought. its also, by the way, the reason i have no plans to make an uber any time soon...

sounds like you were dealing with inexperience, likely kids, rather than intentional greifing.

A little of both. The random element comes to the CCG runs and deliberately work gags etc during waking hours. WHen a kid or anyone refuses to apply teamwork and do whatever they want, it is a form of griefing. They're saying: "I dont care what happens to anyone else as long as I can throw down my marbles" and dont think ahead that maybe what they're doing will mean less toons to split up the VP's attention and their getting geared more. (and less people to pie them when they lose 4 laff)
