What fun! I saw a bunch of low suits and I jumped at the chance to join them! I am so sorry I did not get suit levels. I happened to see 2 suits but didn't plan to take notes so the rest of the suits are a mystery. I do know that there were only the two hollywoods on board.

We had one toon that discoed early on. Sorry about that - didn't even get the name. My notetaking skills are not what they used to be. I had my battle report notepad misplaced and I'm a mess from it.

I am not exaggerating when I say that in the course of this VP, we had 13 lure misses. We even had trap down for 4 straight lure misses! Some of the lure misses were my maxed lure. It was terrible how many gags missed. Not even just lure, but wedding cake saw 4 lured cogs dodge, as well! Cake, storm, sound, you name it! It all missed! Sounded like the other side was having their own problems but I couldn't tell if it was missing gags or people going for diff cogs. Unsure how/why Fireball went sad.

At least the vp didn't jump very much during pie fight. The 6 remaining danced. Great teamwork! Thanks to all for a fun run!

Um, a couple clarifications. First, I'm pretty sure this was on Tuesday, not Wednesday, and second, that wedding cake that missed? Only 3 cogs out of four were lured.

Perhaps you and I are thinking of different VPs. This run was most definitely yesterday (Wednesday), though I could be mistaken about the cogs being lured. We had so many missed lures in that vp that it's hard to remember which ones actually hit. But since I usually only get to play once or twice a week, I can be pretty sure of what day it was.

I didn't see C.W. in the playground after that, but I'm sure he didn't stay by himself for very long. I want to thank him though for being game to stay as long as I did. You Rock Crazy C.W.! We'll get that CFO next time!

Aw, am sorry to hear the run did not end up with squished CFO metal. I wish I had been watching my laff better and could have been more of a help!
Well, it was fun nevertheless, & hope to see you on another CFO and get our revenge =D

Alvin and I made our way early to the comfort of a big CCG crowd in the pit at Sellbot HQ. We needed some friendly elbow rubbing with friends following a couple of tough battles, one lost and one won. There we found Familiar, Sir Oswald, Mister Snappy, Captain Ken, and was pleased to meet, for the first time, Miss Crab E. Dawg. But a lot of the usual crowd seemed to be missing. I noticed a cute little peach colored duck named Peach Duck would you believe. A quick check of her stats indicated she was probably a two track uber. When the appointed time came, Alvin and I marched in and began looking for companions for a nice easy nerve settling run with friends. Eventually we found ourselves in the loading area looking at an elevator partly full of little suits, the biggest turned out to be Saber, a Mingler. Selfishly, Alvin and I waited to see who would step forward. No one made a move! Well we couldn’t let that happen, so we stepped aboard, followed closely by Sir Wilbur Octofoot. I know darn well we were not the only big suits in the area, so I have to ask, why did this elevator leave one short? For the Cog battle we were sided with Saber who turned out to be an uber, and Santo. Our first cog out was the usual 12 with a low level on one side and a mid level on the other. Knowing how fickle lure has been lately, and there being only three of us, I elected to drop a piano on the 12 and Saber targeted the mid level. We needed sound to stun the 12 and help take out the others. It was pretty obvious afterward that Santo was stuck. No gag was played, the piano missed and at least one other cog survived. Saber left us less than three minutes after the elevator doors closed. We struggled to recover with Santo apparently afflicted with terrible lag. But we got things back under control. At 4 minutes into the battle, we heard Peach Duck depart over on the other side. By the end of the cogs, Santo and I had dipped deep into our gag buckets. The other side finished first and Sir Wilbur and Poppy jumped in to help us finish. When we had a pathetic level 1 still standing, Poppy played Professor Pete and restocked our gags as Sir Wilbur and I attacked the cog with bike horns. Thank you so much Sir Wilbur and Poppy for the help and the restock. For the skelecog round Alvin found himself sided with Gag Master and the quite attractive Poppy. Under better circumstances I would have had difficulty keeping Alvin’s mind off flirting and on the game. But circumstances did not allow that. Half way through the skelecogs, Gag Master ceased to be an asset. He was either completely frozen or just an artifact. We never saw him after the skelecog dance. So now we were down to 4. I knew we could do it if we had at least one stunner and I had a lot of faith in Sir Wilbur. And it was well grounded. In fact, everyone performed well. Alvin even got in at least one stun. Slowly but surely we drove the bucket of bolts down the ramps. Sometimes it seemed like forever before we got another stun, but when we did, driving pies were thrown with a vengeance. I had Poppy on my radar and she was holding at about half laff. I am sure none of us wanted to take the time to toonup. After what seemed like forever but was actually only 11 minutes, we drove him over the edge. The overall battle lasted 33 minutes with the cog round taking 11, the skelecog taking 6 and the pie fight taking 11. The VP jumped 12 times. Santo danced, but was not present for the award ceremony where we were awarded a soggy bottom card. Saber, I found your LL in other reports, but no such luck for you little Peach Duck. (And your mommy has neglected to put your info on her membership page.)

During the cog round it was apparent that our side was not fully familiar with CCG battle tactics. Weak traps were thrown in front of big cogs and not followed up. Then the big cog was over-killed while mid levels were left undamaged. A lot of speed chat was flying around and I think the other side was having its problems also. At one point speedchat from the other side blocked Lady Bonnie’s gag choice and the others were waiting for me. In desperation I just threw a big lure and it worked out. Overkills continued but it was a lot better than under-kills. Ten minutes into the battle we began to work as a team, and fell back on sound to get to the end. Even at that we finished before the other side. During that interval I was able to turn off music, but that did not halt the funeral dirge! Apparently it was a glitch within the Disney software on my computer! In the CFO arena things started slow with few hits. Thinking cranes were open, I ran Alvin around but they were all in use. So we tried to stomp, taking our usual punishment for not being very good at it. Then the hits started to build. We continued to stomp and to slowly accumulate a laff deficit. I tried to remember what folks say about leaving the treasures for the craners and having a reasonable laff comfort level. At one point I found an open crane and took a try at it. We were no help to the effort and fortunately, at one point when Alvin was knocked back on his hams by a gear attack, someone else took over. And then I looked at Alvin’s LL. He was down to 4. We ran for cover and looked around for treasures. There were some but he would have to run a gauntlet of oranges to get to them. I thought I had a toonup all, but to my dismay found only a +10. I used it and made a run on treasures. I got him back up in the 40s and resumed stomping, very carefully. When the reds came out, Alvin jumped on a pair and came out at 14. I ran him to a corner and looked around. There were no clear shots at treasures and the few available were being rapidly taken by the others. Lady Bonnie was no longer moving and was either stuck or gone. I guess we could have gone out in a blaze of glory, but I did not see what good that would do for the others. Alvin had ceased to be an asset, and we turned tail and ran. AltF4 and finally the droning music spelling
stopped. The cog round had taken 12 minutes. During the CFO battle, I counted at least 49 of those hits that sound like something in the CFO got busted, and towards the end I heard birds chirping. I have no idea what the outcome of this battle was. I logged back in and found Alvin still alive at LL14. We had turned tail and ran 25 minutes after we boarded the elevator. We apologize to any and all for not being of any more help than we were. And if you have any further information on this elevator load please let us know and we will edit the official CCG report.
Snappy was the last one standing on this one & he went back to the playground admiring his toes. The cog rounds went quite well on Snappy's side from what I remember. The only thing was it seemed there must have been 40 cogs. They just kept on coming. During the craning, it seemed a lot of toons did not want to crane, so Snappy was happy that he could get some practice. He is a true beginner, but the CFO turned orange rather quickly. Once he turned orange, goons were swarming & we heard 1 toon go sad. Snappy was down on laff & left the crane to get some treasures. Someone threw a unite - sorry didn't catch the name - & when Snappy went back to the crane, only Master Bumblebrains was left. We couldn't believe our eyes. We hadn't heard any other sad sounds, but there was only Snappy & Master Bumblebrains left. Master Bumblebrains was a trooper & did his best at stomping & trying to crane as did Snappy, but the CFO won out. Oh well, Snappy went back today & defeated him.

In the milling around area for the 8:45 ET CFO run, we saw a few toons we recognized, Appolyon and Abbadon, Crazy C.J., Chilly, Miss Flip Flipperfoot, and one of the tallest toons I ever saw, a bear named Sir Fuzzybumper. In the boarding area Alvin found himself in the front of the pack with an incomplete load of a lot of little suits in danger of going short so he stepped on. True to CCG guidelines, others also stepped forward and the elevator doors closed on a full load. But none of them were know to us. We had three big suits with Alvin as a Money Bags the next largest. As soon as we entered the combat zone the danged droning music glitch started. I had forgotten to turn off music. I was with you on this round (Master Bumblebrains) While I would not consider myself an excellent craner I think I do well. I had multiple hits when he was wearing a safe that did not knock it off. This WAS a very long battle, I left the crane to help stomp in a corner that was infested with reds trying to protect that craner hoping we would be able to get some damage done to him. When I was finally able to look around there were just two of us left stomping like crazy, I jumped back on a crane only to be met with gears, I got back on and managed to knock off the helmet and be met by a pack of reds, needless to say with only 85 lp I did not last long and was met shortly thereafter looking at the ground by the other toon, we said our good job's and went looking for LP. It was an exciting run with a rare loss (not lately though twice for me in 2 weeks) with team CCG. I think you kind of touched on it in the beginning of your post that it seems it was not in the cards for a win on this run. I later got a revenge with some friends that was for beans....lol. I hope you and all the others were able to get your revenge as well.

Alvin's CFO revenge run.

Alvin Twinklestink Reports that on:

*I gathered these laff levels from other sources and they may be in error.

With two victories behind him, however tenuous, I was able to convince Alvin to try the CFO again after the earlier disaster. Get back on that horse Alvin! In the gathering area we saw many friends. But the highlight for Alvin was his precious Granny Spunky Twinklemuffin. He heard her before he saw her since she is so tiny and so easily hidden by the crowd. Alvin is funny. He is an unabashed flirt with all the ladies, but in front of Granny his flippant attitude disappears, and he mumbles and shuffles his feet searching for words. Wonder why that is. We noted Chilly, Melody, Peppermash, Miss Cuddles, Maroon Snootsniffer and others. Alvin needed a win and I don’t think anyone could have driven a wedge between him and Granny as they moved through the doors. I didn’t even have to shove him! He stuck to her like glue but somehow managed to miss his shot at boarding with her, and I had to point our some other friends around him to keep him from running for the exit. We boarded the next elevator with, to Alvin’s relief, Sir Wilbur who had just helped him win a way short handed VP run. Also Princess Rainbow and Lady Freckles who he has battled with before. But it did look a bit spooky with three headless Robber Barons aboard! We had only two little suits, Alvin and Diamond. That is always a comforting situation for spoiled rotten Alvin. We stumbled in the beginning of the cog round and left an 8 standing. We were busy digging through our pile of stuff for the gag damage chart at the time. But then things settled in and all went well. It was a cacophony of eles, fogs, and pianos from both sides…and oh yes we did hear a bike horn or two. For our final set, someone called a train and we doubled up on goggle lure to make certain it did not miss given all that has been going on lately in ToonTown. And yes all the cogs did catch the train. The other side was raining destruction on their last cogs, literally. I heard six thunderstorms in the final round. Someone was having way too much fun over there. My audio recording contains a statement by Alvin’s driver (me) that, “I am NOT taking crane!” And then no more words but lots of noises heard only by craners. Sometimes I think my mentors (Granny and Melody) are in some kind of telepathic communication with those on my team asking that they force Alvin to crane. Well, we did, and we did get in a shot or two. We also seemed to accumulate all the safes and not know how to get them back to the others. Later Melody explained it to us, so next time we promise not to be buried in them. It was so bad at one point we couldn’t pick up a goon, all we got were safes. We counted 28 of those “something broke” noises from the CFO hits and 5 of those ahoowga noises that are followed by chirping birds. Wonder if you can tell how close your are to a win by counting those? I an not certain who else was on crane, but from my screen shots I can see that Lady Freckles was and can guess that the other two were Prof. Coconut and Sir Bumblenoondle. Great job all, thank you for being patient with Alvin and me. The battle lasted only 18 minutes total, with 7 ½ for the cogs and 5 for the old Money Box himself. Our prize was gag up throw. Nice.
