Thanks for that reminder Slippy! NOrmally I hear a Sorry or Ooops! on accidents like that or I say Sorry! if I do it... I was bothered by the fact that 2 toons kept saying Don't throw a safe now! Yet consistently new ones were thrown to him. I was removing safes landing near his treads that I could reach then a new one would fly to hit him again. Trust me, I've made the mistake of throwing a safe <thinking> still stun time left but safe hits and voila, nitwit's no longer stunned- that's why I goon unless no one else throwin safes. It's nice hitting him with a safe while he's stunned- lovely to see the big damage- but the problem is in getting the durn thing off which we were all having major problems with esp so many reds surrounding us.

Friday night fights are always exciting, aren't they? lol Not great teamwork, but it didn't kill us in the skele round. The stinky lure did us all in. I think it missed 3 times in a row? My poor daughter, Bella, a/k/a toony, was most upset when the 3 of us left her and she was down in lps. Well, let's face it... none of us had tu, so we weren't much help anyway. lol! She had no unites, no flippy, no way of getting lps when she was down so far already. The other side wasn't doing well from the sad sounds coming their way. I told her to go out in style, and she used her presentation (hmm... shoulda used that earlier, but I think one our toons was a kiddo anyway and didn't really understand going after the same cog when we did throw gags). Then she wedding caked the 12s. They didn't seem to really appreciate that and sent her back to the playground to admire her pedicure, too. lol! I really don't mind my uber going sad when things happen that you can't control: lure missing... gotta get my class action lawsuit against goofy ready. That was the case here. Better luck next time! Hopefully next Friday Caitlyn won't be on Hedwig's acct... her unites and flippys would have come in handy here. Ugh. Kudos to Beorn Toon... nice uber... fun to play w ya!

Thanks. We made it through the first cog battles OK but it was the skel round which did us in with those multiple lure misses. Sorry- they told me those walmart sale lures were good lol. Guess Ill have to pony up the beans for the the premium lures next time. Beorn Toon

The CCG has concentrated on teamwork and the development of methodology for winning with a mix of toons, both little and big suits. I really don't think you will find any real CCG members who, as big suits, got there by riding off the back of other toons. It is true that not all of us are highly skilled in all areas of battle, some of us might even be real klutzes <Alvin waves>, but one thing we have is heart and we have teamwork skills (and rules). Yes we get randoms on our runs and we deal with it well. Yes, go read the battle guides posted by the CCG, watch the videos, and by all means take part in training runs. There is so much to know about the battles that is not obvious! We somehow get perks when all the cog lawyers are stunned at the same time for instance! So orderly stunning is a good thing. Come, join us, the experts will gladly help you hone those already impressive skills!

There was a great deal of "Let's all go for the same cog" and "Don't use sound on lured cogs" coming from the other side during the cog round. As 3 of the 4 that were on the other side, were together for the skelecog round, I am guessing that something of the like continued. We either had a kid, a random, or both at the wheel of one of those toons. Unfortunately Sleepy Head fell to the skelecogs in battle. Next time! Those cogs can't get away with such behavior!
