It is really wonderful to actually start to connect toons with other toons and toon drivers. There were many friends in the pit, some facets of multiple personalities and in at least one case two toons, one driver. I can't imagine how that is done, I struggle with just Alvin. We saw Irky Mae there as well as Familiar, and one of Dawggies girls. I don't remember palying with Irky in a VP before so I was kind of maneuvering Alvin to board with her but then we noticed an elevator not really filling well, and then there seemed to be a shuffle. Alvin..feeling all responsible as a CCG big suit... stepped forward to help fill and balance what looked like a load in danger of being a majority of little suits. Others has the same thought and I found alvin in the company of big suits, Dawn Ov Anudae and Princess Daphne Sparklemuffin. So we all set off to rescue Mr. Freeze. ToonTown split us rather unfairly and I must admit I had concern for the other side as all three of us big suits were together. At one point we were gifted a 2,2,3,4 line up and just could not resist stinking them with bike horns. We worked our way through the cogs fairly quickly, but I'll be danged if the little suit side didn't beat us! I guess I need not have worried! For some reason, Alvin found himself nine points shy of full health. I remember Princess Daphne commenting that she had fumble-fingered a gag choice, but am not sure. The brave Miss Pinky chased the old tin can all the way to the top of the ramp! Well, either that or she was trying to keep from getting run down...maybe. For the skelecog round the other two big suits traded places with little suits and Alvin found himself with unknowns Miss Pinky Sparklemuffin, and Doctor Star Doggensnoop. Princess Glitter was somewhat of a known as we had just finished cogs together. So, out walked this big 12, all alone. Alvin went for the kill with his piano. But oops, the others added their much smaller drop gags and everything missed! For some reason the skelecog singled out Princess Glitter somewhat unfairly and hammered her. At that point I made up my mind we were not going to risk wasting a presentation in the likely event that our team members had not seen it used before in a LLKL sequence. Besides we had no real low level toons on our side that needed special care. I pouted to Princess Daphne about being in for some trouble, but those fears were soon washed away when our LL 54 whipped out a Clerk Clara and we wiped out three 10s leaving only one (that had already been lured) to be easily dispatched. The pie round was the usual gleeful rout. It appeared that we had so many toons we kept splatting each other accidentially. It also seemed that one of our group was healing herself by jumping high up into the fusilade of pies and gettng generously splatted. At one point I ran Alvin around back to try to get in a stun and there simply was not room enough there for another toon. Back out front, I marveled at the calm cool and collected way Princess Daphne dodged gears then stepped forward and holed a pie. She graciously allowed Alvin to try that position but he did little except attract gears. Oh well, maybe someday his skills will develope. We counted three real jumps and at least two phantoms on our audio. The entire excursion lasted 18 minutes, with 4 for the cogs, 3 for the skelecogs, and 5 for the pie flinging. Later my youngest son logged on and insisted I go into HQ to admire his new Sellbot suit. Then we went out to work on his gags. Soon we hope to usher him into his first VP battle.

I don't know what happened on the other side. A lot of gags missings and maybe some underkilling going on? We had a few misses on our side and struggled a bit initially, but, thanks to a toons hit card made it through the remaining skellies without worries. It was a sad victory though after losing Espresso and C.W. Rockengrooven.

I sure hope you don't mind if I take advantage of your already posted battle report and add my narrative. If you do, I am sure you know someone who can make this go <foop>.

After a two day (seemed like two week) furlough from ToonTown to gain RL LL with Mrs. Alvin, I returned this morning worried about the estate trees. Scottsman showed up to help and in no time we were finished. My flowers are all dead and I don’t care, my flowers are all dead and I don’t care <he sang tunelessly>. Such a wonderful thing to be done with. Alvin needed everything before he could again do an HQ battle. Fortunately they were all small needs. We wandered first to Lawbot HQ to see what we could do with just courtyard fights. We soon had amassed a marvelous 59 out of the needed 120 JNs and almost got killed in the process. I had stretched things a bit when suddenly a couple of little toons showed up and decided to help me. We soon attracted a crowd and they continued to innocently help me by adding their Barbie magnets to my goggles and their sand bags to my piano. And in between I was trying to keep them healed. I finally was allowed to dance at LL 17 and ran for cover. Familiar showed up about that time and helped me with my other needs. About the time I was finished with it all, one of my TFs whispered…”You ARE going to CFO in 20 minutes aren’t you!” Oh well, uhhh…well gee, I guess so. I mean I did come here today to resume my second career as Alvin’s driver didn’t I? I was lured by suggestions that Granny Spunky Twinklemuffin would surely be there. So I went but she wasn’t. But there were a lot of my friends there. I enjoyed watching BrrlGrrl stink herself using Familiar and Melody Peppercorn (she was playing both toons). And I got to wave hello to everyone. Scout Mama, Irky Mae (I think), Melody, Claire Voyant, Dawn Ov Anudae, Momma Flipperfoot and others were there. As we filed in I could see three blue (TF) names to follow and huddle close to. But as usual things went awry. I had changed Alvin’s viewpoint and found that whenever I got him near a wall, I couldn’t see him anymore or some such thing. As I tabbed through the views I missed all chances to board with my TFs. I certainly hope I did not actually step on and off in the confusion. Fortunately Momma Flipperfoot had her eye on me and made sure Alvin didn’t go in with a complete load of strangers. Alvin was getting a little twitchy looking at a load of only five, but then another stepped on and then finally, Sir Bumblenoodle and Baron Bumpengrooven graciously stepped forward to fill the elevator. We were all still there when the doors opened, but Sir Bumblenoodle’s connection did not hold up even to the point of us getting our suits stripped off. So we went in at seven, all big suits except Alvin. Alvin lucked out and was on the full side. Early on we were so intent on pulling a stinky gag we left a level nine standing and it attacked Blossom. I have a chart of what it takes to kill cogs but there is no way I can read the chart, look at the gag choices “do the math” and have time to pick the right gag. So usually I just try to pick early. I don’t feel bad though because shortly after that someone spit water on a level 12….killed it too. I guess we weren’t careful enough with our gags as we ran out of fogs on the last full row of big cogs and Blossom had to whip out her opera singer. I love watching their little cog heads explode. Then ToonTown presented the final cog. It was a pathetic little level 1 for crying out loud. That certainly brought out the bike horns and squirt flowers. It never survived to the flowers; the single bike horn took it out. Finally done we ran to the other side and Baron Bumpengrooven jumped in to help the short side finish. Things fell such that Alvin was in stomp position and he didn’t push for anything else. We had our view set to watch the crane work and just couldn’t get the hang of stomping from that vantage point. I am afraid we kind of let the craner down that we were guarding. I marveled at Momma Flipperfoot’s stomping ability. Graceful as a gazelle she was, and effective! She was covering one end by herself and covered some of my errors to boot. We had Zilly, Jaze, Baron, and Pinky on crane and they did a phenomenal job. The entire battle lasted 22 minutes with the cog round taking 12 minutes. The CFO fight took just under 5 minutes. For our fantastic efforts we were rewarded with a 100 jb TOW! Pinky commented “Bah Humbug!” and Momma Flipperfoot let slip a “That Stinks!”. And justifiably so.

hopefully i have all the names right- normally i take screenies during battle to get names/suits but my son came in to talk while we were in cfo and i didnt get any. things were going well considering intense lag that hit while we were still fighting cogs. crane battle was very troublesome- someone kept putting a new safe on the cfo's head (sorry i do not deal well with safes!). toon sadualities began as reds started swarming the floor- i had no unites left to help anyone out. you all did a great job. please remember not to throw safes unless he's stunned (stars spinning!).

i'm getting a new computer this week (finally i can game without all the lag!)
