"That was exciting!" Indeed, I just assumed the two toons were not regular runners with the CCG. Luckily we only had a couple of missed lures; yours seems to be broken, maybe you should take it back to the store for a "Toon Up".

Apologies for the missing info on this, my first post. Apologies also to Cinder for my hypno-goggles malfunctioning at the most inopportoon moment. Bluemoon tried to keep Cinder smiling with a TU Unite, but a fraction of a second too late as the poor little kitty was melting to the wahwah.

Isn't that the truth!!! It's been happening to me for the past 3 days. I just have to laugh about it now, keep my pointer on a tu unite just in case and cross my fingers on my other hand. Glad you two made it through and I'm very proud of Alvin. Seems our Saturday run paid off.

WOW! A toughie. Seated 8, 26 POE and lasted 1 hour and 15 min. Phew! Last 15 minutes it seemed the pan was on the brink and nothing happened. I wore my batteries on my mouse out on this one. Great teamwork. So sorry we lost you Coco. Next time, yell for help. We definitely did a good job keeping each other tooned up to that point. Not sure if you got gaveled twice while I was getting more evidence or what.

We lost bernie on the other side so I'm not sure what happened. Brandy was then paired on the side with 3. With me luring, the other two didn't seem to have enough fire power to kill the cogs and we ended up with the lure order all screwed up. When 3 stepped back it was all over for the 25 laff. I used my presentation, and we waited it out till the other side finished. In that time Madam Kitka managed to get me from 15 up to 50 something with only a feather, and no help from the 11 that didn't get lured by presentation. Thanks to the other side for coming to our rescue!

Bernnie got hit by an unlured 10 for 15 pts--we had asked a couple of times for "lets all go for the same cog", but the 2 bigger toons wanted to kill off 2 at once or use sound, and it just wasn't taking out enough cogs, plus we were getting multiple bigger cogs coming out at once. Blibber's gags are just too small yet to do enough damage to those skels, and I'm really glad you 2 made it--I expect for her to go sad, but it was unlucky that the 3 of us got sided in the skels, and I would have felt really bad if you guys didn't make it.

One other thing about this run: We packed on a full load, then 2 jumped off. One was a big toon that I've seen at a LOT of CCG runs, so I know they knew better, and they said "Sorry, I'm helping a friend". For now I'm going to assume they had some sort of emergency, unless I see it happening again. Who knows, everyone might have survived if this big toon had stayed on. Poor Bernnie was one of the nice (and brave) toons that filled in an empty spot--I don't remember who the other was, but thank you. Then after we had a full elevator again, 2 big suits completely blocked the screen. I'm seeing this happen quite frequently these days.

This was difficult in the cogs and skells, since the idea of luring the new cogs, taking out the oldest cog and hitting with enough gags to destroy the cog needed some improvement. Maybe parental supervision or a quick read of the strategies for the VP would help relax the teammates and it could be smoother than unites for a laff saving rescue.

The stunning was great. I was confused by the toons who stood at the cage. Just jump up and take a load of pies from the bottom of the cage. The supply is endless (wish it was in CJ too!) and then each time he is dizzy hit his head area with your pies using the insert key.

Maxie finished running the factory with about 3 minutes to spare and tp'd to a friend at the vp. It was an early elevator with plenty of big suits around but nobody wanted to fill the 8th spot so Maxie jumped on and was pleased to find herself in the elevator with Little One.

There was some unfortunate gag working in the beginning with 3 toons working trap -- please, the boss fights are NOT the place to work gags of any kind. If Harlie had been on our side in cogs he would have gone back to the pg as there were 3 big cogs left alive and they swept for 20 laff each. I'm not listing teams for this reason. There was also a LOT of SF chat that went on, even after Little One and Maxie requested please use the speed chat repeatedly. Skels went much better on gag choice and we all made it to pies. VP went over the edge quickly and we let Freeze out of the cage and went on with our evening.

This was a little difficult. I have to say a big "I'm sorry" to everyone on my team. It seems for some reason, my strategy has been way off the past several runs. I promise, I have read the guides and I keep a list of the points it takes to kill the cogs right in front of me. I'm always a little unsure of gag choice and can't seem to commit to 1 gag before the timer runs out. Trying to figure out if there is lure bonus, and adding up points for gags I dont have (drop) to make sure for a kill, still perplexes me. I started toontown in October 2007 and to be honest, my strategy has a long , long way to go. I want to thank everyone on my team(s) for putting up with me..lol I still had a great time with all of you despite my mistakes. A lot of great players on this run!

and just a note... I went on the cj training run (team 1) and a couple of great toons sent me some wonderful gifts that I cherish very much. I made a mental note to be sure and thank you personally, but my mommy brain turned to mush, as usual. Now I'm unsure about who sent them. I've made some discreet attempts to test the waters ie: "wave" "bellyflop" and then I said thanks and "You are awesome" but Ya'll probably just thought I was crazy. Anyway, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Suggestion? If you pick first and do not change, more experienced toons will cover YOU. If you wait til the last second...or change your gag...they cannot help. Be kind to yourself...this is supposed to be fun. Stick with LLKR unless presentation is used (then its LLKL), pick your gag quickly and don't change...then watch and learn.

Yay! I was the last toon to pack on that 'vator on my black cat, Roar Shock. I, like you guys, was a bit surprised to see the jumping...oof! Glad I made it on--what a GREAT group of toons. (Their loss!) Sorry we lost the ubers...rats...but we definitely had a blast nonetheless!
