* There are plenty of safe places you can find to stand to avoid getting hit by gavels and throw evidence without congregating in one area. If one of you gets hit by evidence, you take a chance on bumping into the toon next to you thereby possibly causing them to get knocked into a pounding gavel. (Saw this happen a couple times.) Granted, it will happen occasionally. There really shouldn't have been any reason for me to throw out a tu unite in this run from what I was watching had there not been the above mentioned repeated instance. Keep in mind we also used lots of evidence for toonup before and after the unite thrown. Happy that we all danced though and that's what matters.

First round went real well. Even with Mighty Blue Duck on our side, knowing he was maxxed made me more willing to use sound to clear the cogs and help out the two CCs on the other side. (That and the +40 toonup Unite I had in my bag )

Second round started off odd and continued that way. Lady Lollipop had some sort of bug that let her move around the area. She could make picks on our side, so other than being a bit distracting, no harm came from it. We had some lure issues, and the other side was having serious difficulties, so we pulled out the sound and went through a couple rows quickly to try and down some of the cogs. While I think it was a bit messy on the other side (remember LLKR, especially with little toons about), everyone made it to the pie fight.

Pongo missed a few jumps and I was just getting ready to check on him, when he smartly moved back and cried HELP! With two toons pieing him, he was back up to 30+ laff and with the VP almost over the edge, we went back at it.

Couple of pointers:

1) If you are going to close up stun, do not get hit by the VP (or run into him, or let him run over you). That causes him to get back up from his stun. This is especially important to watch if you are back stunning from the treads, back up as soon as you pie him, so that the pushers don't push him into you. Also, ideally you should only have one or two stunners in the back, as those toons are not able to push. If you see two toons in the back doing a good job hitting the box, head back to the front. Remember when he gets close to the edge, there is no reason to be in the back, it's almost impossible to stun him *and* get out of the way so that the rest can push before he runs you down and then sits back up.

2) It's very important for the toons throwing from the front to stay back from the VP when he is not stunned. The gears for -3 or spray for -5 can add up very quickly and you can't jump over them. Wait for the stun and then move in for the push. If you stand back, you can not only push when he is stunned, but have a good chance of stunning him from afar.

I have no idea why no one was packing on this load. It was a great group and very well-balanced suit-wise (even a bit on the heavy side!). We ended up going one short, which was no problem at all, but someone really missed out on a good run!

I had a few really weird things happen to me. First, the CFO was spinning around fast at first (he did settle down eventually), goons were very few and far between on one side but swarming the other (I have seen this before, but it really stood out this time with all the other oddities going on), and my sound went mute. After I got out I checked my book and the sound was off (I never turned it off) and when I turned it back on a bird was chirping. No matter where I went that bird chirping followed me, so I finally logged off. I am glad the sound muted itself so I didn't have to listen to that chirping the whole CFO! I have never had that happen before. Was all this on my end or were others having strange things happening?

This was a lot of fun with good teamwork all around. Our side wasn't too exciting during the Cog round -- we didn't have any sound or lure miss! (I know -- how odd! The stompers were stomping away like my daughter does when I ask her to put away her laundry. And not only were the craners great, but they were very conscientious -- the toons on either side of me noticed that I tossed both my safes. Before I could ask, they each threw me one!

If only they could all be this easy! (And fun!)
