I waved off some loads, waiting to see if I was needed or not. I kept saying, "be my guest" since Irky doesn't have, "you first" and I ended up loading at zero on the clock, because the last little suits on the deck just wouldn't load.

It was a great battle, lots of bonuses from the cog stunners. We seated 8, no bonus from suit strength but we had smooth sailing just the same. There was a lot of tuning up that seemed unnecessary, since the cog stunning bonus is worth 10 points, and dropping the scale for a quick victory serves to get us out and beyond danger fast enough not to get scared over being down 20 points for toons that carry over 100 laff anyway. So toons standing at the scale and hitting each other, not the scale, each time they are down 10 rather than waiting for the next +10 from the cog stunners seems to lengthen the battle unnessarily.

To the toon that had to go afk for a couple minutes, don't worry about that. We all understand how real life manages to pick difficult times to interupt game play. I'm glad you were able to get back so quickly to rejoin us again.

Not sure why people find it necessary to try and load with big suits on any type of boss run. This load didn't have a single RB and it was an awesome run. This just goes to show that you need not judge a toon by their suit level.

Hi Everyone, I just came out of a VP run (5:00 pacific) and sorry that I don't have a battle report, I didn't take any screenshots (I remember that Sir Glue Stick was there -love the name!).

That has to be one of the most rewarding runs I have ever been on! It was the first time Simba really had the opportunity to help someone else out (instead of someone helping Simba out lol). I absolutely loved pegging pies at the small toon, it was a blast! I'll take a run like that anyday.

Hmmmm.....Perhaps a few comments. First of all, I'm sort of embarrassed that at the CCG we had so many HWs, Minglers, etc. hanging back to load. We weren't the first load. But when you saw 5 CCs in there it seems a lot of people sort of stood around looking at each other. Thank you so much Bananasplat and Master Green Bunnybird for doing the CCG "thing" and packing on, particularly when we had a jumper.

All you CCs -- congrats on the win.

Two things - Please, please, please please don't show up at a CCG run with your laffs not full. One of you was at 14 laffs, the other at 38 when we lined up. If my first lure had missed, the one at 14 laffs would have been back at the PG. If we had gotten 3 cogs on the first turn and my lure missed, the 38 could have been back at the PG as well. That shows a great lack of teamwork to show up that way. Please go grab some Daisies or work your doodle for a minute or two....

Secondly, please, please, please, please don't work your gags in the VP. Show up with your gags full ("I need more gags" on the 4th turn is a dead give away, by the way) Use enough firepower to take out a cog, or pass.

I thought the pie round went pretty well (we don't need 5 toons in back, please, really). Without at least 4 or 5 pushing from the front he starts hopping like a bullfrog on a warm summer night (thus the 4 jumps in a row back up the ramp.

all in all, we all danced. Please just try to follow the guidelines!

I may have been the small toon...I couldn't get jumping at the right time. This was my first vp run !! I DO remember Sir Glue Stick and Simba ( I think ). If this was the right run I'm Bubbles Gigglefussen 64 laff- CC-1. It was all so crazy being my first time I didn't write any names down. I was so nervous and excited !!
I am really not sure if this was the run- started at 8:00pm EST - I was run over by the VP cuz I didn't move out of the way....But someone was pelting me with pies for a while THANKS !!
