What are these special theme based runs Thug Thursday runs you ask? Well they could be .... CFO and VP without any lure used or they could be No level 6 gags or they could be only 6 per elevator, they could be no toon up except from your doodle. The thing is you the CCG members will be calling the Special Thug Thursday Run.

How do the members call the Special Run? I will call the run for next week, January 25th. I will then pick a member to call the following week. That member will pick another member to call the Thug run for the next week. And so on and so on.... Thug Thursday is a great way for us to loosen up and have fun! But to keep it from fading out again, it will be up to you the members to help keep it strong. I am hoping the following guidelines will help.

The current caller should have his/her replacement picked and ready to announce on the Friday before Thug Thursday. The new theme should be posted on or before the next Monday. This allows at least two days for planning and posting. If you can’t find a replacement or if you can’t come up with a theme…. send me a pm! I know enough stinkers that we can easily find a backup. If I haven’t seen anything posted (or received a pm) by 7 pm CST on Monday, I will call a back-up. Those of you who owe me a favor or two – be prepared!

EDIT: When you are asked to call the monthly Thug Run, please send a pm to Dizzy Twinklemuffin with a link to the post with the run information. This will insure your particular run is added to the calendar. If you don't send a pm, the calendar will not reflect the proper time but it will link people back to this original post within this thread.

12. Queen Maxie Superspinner -- No throw - No squirt - No sound. Any level 1 gag allowed.
13. NoisyBanjo -- Leave the first lvl 12 til last. Then finish him off with flowers or music.
14. bigbubbles --Single attack gags ONLY; any lvl 1.
15. Good Ol' Murky Paddlefink -- Noisy gags and speed chat must be used before each gag selection.
16. Thelonious Monkey -- "Good Grief". How low can your laff meter go?

Thank you, thank you to all the fun toons who turned up for these runs. We had 2 full elevators for VP--so sorry Dusty couldn't get on. We also had a full vator for CFO. This was definitely a lot easier that I had projected--maybe because a lot of us were droppers. All the speedchatting was hilarious--you guys & gals are so much fun! You rock!

Thank you for the personal invitation Princess Lily...I was planning to do the regular runs anyway...so I decided "why not?" I ran and changed gags!

What a wonderful break from the humdrum of key chasing. This group of toons was awesome and never missed a beat.

I must say I was a little befuddled when one toon chose TRAIN and all we had was $1, $5 and $10 lures... fortunately one toon kept their head and lured one cog....so the train took out one....

OH..I SEE GOT IT NOW!

So glad you could come Frostimom! I have to warn ya though, that was easy for a thug run--it all depends on how it is set up, and I'm a noob at them, so it turned out easy. But you made a great thug--it's all about being silly, having fun, and doing something a little different! Oh, and that was my silly kitty that threw out the train, rofl. I stood there for a sec, wondering why no one was throwing out goggles--duh, i specified only single lures! But the other toons are used to playing stinky cuz one threw out that lure without batting an eyelash, and I thought what the hey, i grow em anyway, lol. For some reason, I had never thought about what would happen with a single lure on a train, but now I know, rofl.

Over time we have been in several thug battles and we found ourselves smiling on the thug gag choices, and frowning on the cogs gags, so we decided the theme would be called:
Smile on Thugs, Frown on Cogs.

Gag selections
They are determined by either making a smile face or a frown face with your gag bag in your schticker book. See the gag bag pictures below.

Since each toon has different gag tracks, this should allow for just enough differences to cause thuggery mayhem and confusion.

Speed Chat phrases
When you make your gag selection, you must use a speed chat phrase to match your gag bag image: a smile/happy speed chat phrase or a frown/stinker speed chat phrase.

Other
SOS cards: If the SOS gags match your gag bag, use it.
TU unites: Best saved for BBHQ, but may be used.
Level 7 gags: If you feel you must use one, go ahead.
Please wear tie dye clothes.

I tried one of these things so long ago but I think I wanna give it another try! Sounds like alot of fun & since I mostly use happy sayings and tons of smilies I think I'm going to the opposite with a frown and stinky sayings LOL. I'm actually looking forward to it! Whoo hoo, oops I mean you stink, I'm just practicing hehehe.
