"I want a signature or avatar made but where should I go?" Help thread.

So, you want a signature picture or an avatar.

As you can see just on the first page of the artwork forum, there are many places where you can get someone to make you a signature picture or avatar. Now don't worry! This isn't just a big advertisment for my thread!
You decide to find someone to make one. Great! Just...you don't know who to choose! I have created some easy-to-follow steps on how to choose the artist that is "right for you!"

1) First, I recomend ordering the forum by rating. (Click that link to do so) You will now see all the threads in the artwork forum sorted by user given rating. Now, not all these could be accurate, but it is a good place to start.

2) Find out what program they are using. Usually people put the program they are using in their original post, while others do not. If they don't try to decide what it is yourself, or ask them! Here (according to me) are the most used image editing programs from best-worst.

• Photoshop CS
• Photoshop 7-
• Paint Shop Pro
• Paint Shop
• Microsoft Digital Image Pro
• Microsoft Publisher
• Microsoft Paint

I reccomend threads that use progams higher up on that list (it will be updated if anyone thinks it should be)

3) Look for a thread that is often posted in, and is not ignored by the creator. Many times you will see threads where people say they will make things, but end up never doing it and creating many excuses. If you see something like this, ignore it, and look for another one.

4) Look for a style you like! If you ask someone to make a picture and you don't seem to like it, chances are they will not feel like making another more personalized one. So be sure to look through the thread first at what their style of artwork is before commiting yourself to that person.

5) Will they make the kind of thing you want? Make sure to see if they are offering the service you want, may it be

• Info Card
• Signauture Picture
• Avatar
• Animations
• Personalized Images
• Other (You get what you ask for)

If you folllow 5 easy steps, you will be able to get the picture you want where you want, when you want.
