Hihi!!! This is.... my first art shop. Because I do not know how to do profile pics and stuff like that I do not make that stuff. But what I do make is Toon Drawings! Really great at drawing. I am currently learning how to make logos. I may or may not close this shop. . But oh well. have fun.

One small problem.... I was GOING to post examples but really, all my file types are bmp -_- I hate it. So I dont know if I should close this or find out how to get rid of bmp.

At the end of any file name just type .png or .jpg or whatever file type you want. I personally prefer png because of the quality. :]

Which program are you using?

If you're using Paint, it should automatically save it as a PNG. If you're using Photoshop, it will try to save it as a PSD (Photoshop type of a file). Simply click and scroll where it says the type of file it will be saved as. Click JPEG or PNG, although JPEG's quality is quite frightening. I use PNG for all my art-shop orders.

Now thats just weird. I AM using paint, but it keeps saying bmp! I hate bmp so much... you have to download it to see it .

paint actually is default to bmp. you might have changed the default settings tho.

You can change the file type by using the button here when you save a picture. It's right under the file name line.



i saved this as a .jpg file so it's kind of blurry. .png won't do that.

I didn't touch any default settings. I think the paint that comes with Windows 7 must be different then.. because I've never experienced any of my three programs saving my files as BMP (default).

And Ashlee, I think it must be a Windows 7 setting indeed, cos all the Paint versions I had so far (I currently have Win XP) automatically saved files in .bmp, like Maps said.
