By far, the worst 3 griefers i've met.

(Now, i know i am filling the forums with my threads. But, i cannot hold my fury and anger any longer.)

Same again, i go into the bullion. When it came to the obstacles, the 98 laff bear took a widdle bit too long. So i whispered to him "<name> is bored." Response: "I don't care." After this it all went downhill. The 115 fat cat joined in, and started to stink me after i ACCIDENTALLY hit the supervisor. All i did was actually nothing at all, yet she acted as if i destroyed one of the cogs.

During the dance, they started to think of making me go sad. Saying stuff like "Get along, little dogie." with a "Hot Diggity Dog!". This made me feel very upset, because they thought of frying my toon on a grill. I am serious, i wou-

Never mind. My anger is going to be let out too far.

If you see a 98 laff blue bear, a 114 laff orange cat, or a 115 laff orange cat, please avoid them.

Note that this is only my thoughts during the 2nd paragraph. Not including the bracketed one.

I've lost count of my griefs now.

There are a lot of rude toons and a few griefers in the bullion. There always has been. I think these toons probably thought you were griefing them. If you think about it from their point of view, imagine you were having a hard time getting across the obstacles. For people new to the mint, it can take a very long time. So, having a hard time, probably feeling stressed by it, someone whispers to you that they are bored. Then later, that toon engages the supervisor before you are there. A lot of toons have cheated other players out of mints/factories/DAs. They don't know you just as you don't know them. They probably thought you were going to steal the mint.

I know you weren't griefing them, but I also don't think they were griefing you. They might have been rude, but griefing is a lot more than stinking. They could have thought you were being rude by your bored comment when the toon was having a hard time.

That "get along little dogie" and "hot diggity dog" is actually very witty but anyway I'm sorry that happened to you.

IMO, the griefing was not done by them. If a toon is having difficulties with the obstacles, then by no means should any other toons present make it more difficult by whispering rude comments. Sending whispers only distracts and makes it more difficult.

Also, the situation with the supervisor; I'm very sure they were wanting to wait for an invasion and you ran into the supervisor, or you were waiting for the rest of them while they were trying to catch up, got bored and ran into the supervisor. Either way, its not nice to do such a thing, especially when someone needs 8900 bucks, even if its by accident. If toons stopped hanging around the supervisor, accidents wouldnt happen. IMO they are not being griefers.

I agree with the above posters. The first time I entered a mint I had problems with one of the obstacles, not the big obstacle room though, for me it was the spinning cog wheel that you have to climb up. Luckily for me one of the other toons in the group came back down and showed me how to do it and gave me encouragment in speedchat.

A friend of mine used to have such a hard in the big obstacle room that he would offer to leave so as not to make others wait for him, I would never let him though as he needed to be there as much as the rest of us. So I know how distressing it can be if you have problems with the obstacles and whispering to the toon in difficulty that you were bored would only have enhanced thier distress. Would it have made a difference if you knew this player was a young child on his first time in a mint?

When I see toons having a hard time with the obstacles I will usually ask if they would like some help, and if they say yes I will go back and take them through it, as for at least one of the jumps it doesn't seem obvious which way to go.

I do not believe these toons griefed you at all, it seems if anything, they were simply reacting to things you said and did. I don't know how you came to the conclusion that the other toons wanted to kill you off or grill you during the dance by saying those phrases, for one thing it's impossible to kill or damage a toon during the dance.

You'd probably change your minds, because i had only 5 minutes left. And i was not going to throw away 100+ drop points, 1400+ cogbucks and my dignity. Though youre probably not going to.

You know what? I just might quit the Cash HQ buisness.

Instead of flying off the handle because everyone doesn't agree with you, you should learn something from the above posts.

The "bored" message to the toon who was having some difficulty tells me more about how you play the game than you probably intended

One of the problems with speedchat is it is limited and easily misunderstood. Everyone has issues with toons at some point. It is also hard when you are trying to finish and others aren't concerned with time. It always raises my stress level. Next time try open chat phrases that let the others know you are pressed for time.

Rather that being frustrated with randoms, at this point, try to go only with friends. Take a break from Cash for a while, and work on something else. Fishing, golf? A few trips to the DA always humble me and make me appreciate the ease and oddities of the mint.

5 minutes? That caught my eye.
I would have been rushing them like a hurricane was in the mint and we were it's target. o_o
Anyways, I think it was wrong of them to be mean when you made an acident. Was there an invasion?
Also, you should've said, "I only have a few minutes." somewhere in the mint. That'd help a bit more.

Well, not to be rude, but I think what YOU did was kind of rude. Lately I have been making a thread about the DA obstacles. I am tired of people telling me things such as "Good grief." "You did it!" "Nice shot!", among other things when I trip the cogs. We ALL make mistakes, and yes, I can make mistakes on the puzzle pieces. I know you only had a few minutes, but sometimes you have to think before you say something. The toon may have just been having problems that day, it doesn't necessarily mean he is bad at it. What people don't understand, is that we ALL make mistakes.

You will have a day where you fall off, and someone is going to whisper something like that to you. Tell me, how would it feel? I get very upset when people are rude to me for messing up on a puzzle. It really upsets me that I clean-up my mistakes, and it's STILL not enough for them. Anytime I trip the wire, I tell the people I am with "Sorry!" "I'll get back to you." and I use one of my level 7's. I do this because I think it's fair. I feel bad when I mess up. However, sometimes the toons say "Good grief.", and then don't say anything when I tell them I am sorry, AND use a level 7 to help them out.

By him saying "I don't care", IMO he was just trying to tell you that he didn't like what you were saying to him. The bored emotion isn't the nicest thing you could have whispered.

As for me, I can really get mean when it comes to toons doing this to me(getting angry for making a mistake). I will not be nice, and when they MESS up themselves, I will sure let them know. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help it, and when you ran into the battle and hit the cog, it was probably frustration from what you had already told them. Trust me, it doesn't feel good to think you're a hassle...

wellfirst i agree'd with you, but now not so much after looking at other people's opinions

it seems from your point of view, your right, they're wrong

think of yourself in the same situation...

You need 8900 cogbucks, and you've done quite a few Mints that day, you just want to get through this mint, so your not really trying to get through the obstacles, just to be done. Your having trouble getting on maybe the giant cog gear and you keep falling off, you start to get aggrivated and then someone whispers to you "Yellow duck is bored."

how do you feel? what would you say back?

idc maybe....................

i see from ur profile u r soundless, and trust me i know how hard it is to do bullions with no sound. I have a soundless toon at 120, maxed cash a few months ago. everything takes longer w/o sound and u have to be really thick skinned, cause u will get grief for it. because of all the grief, for me i became super sensitive to all stinking. i agree with the others bout what u whispered to the one having problems, i would have whispered back the same thing to u. imo kill em with kindness, they say "u stink", i say "thanks!" or "i think u should use sound" i say "no thankyou". this worked pretty well for me. the grief is only going to get worse trust me! and i got ditched one night in bullion 7 different times. just wait til u get to law if u think cash is bad. i don't even bother doing a D office w/o atleast 1 of my sf's with me. going with all randoms is hard to do..

good luck with maxing cash tho
