Hello, my fellow people of TTC. I have decided to become an author again. I was inspired to write again, after reading a chapter of Buzz's story. I thought to myself, hmm, isn't it time I wrote another story? So here it goes.
It was the 8th of November, and a dark and stormy night it was in Donald's Dock. It was a ghost town there, as all toons fled to their homes, catching a first glimpse of the gloomy weather. But one toon decided that no lousy storm would stop her. Her name was Shadow, and she was a short black cat. She had on her dark black raincoat, to match her silky fur, and a fluffy black scarf, to keep her neck warm. She needed to complete her toontask, which was defeating 20 cogs, but it was too diffcult to keep her gags on target. Most of them had been carried by the wind, and as a result, she had nearly gone sad. The storm really was her enemy, but she never gave up without a fight. So off to Lighthouse Lane she went, trying to hold her hood up on her raincoat. When she had got onto the street, she immediatly spotted a Spin Doctor. So she hurried on over to him, seeing that he had already partly rusted from the heavy rain. She pulled out a oozing cream pie, and managed to splat him in the face. But unfortunately, this had not destroyed him. Next, she pulled out a fruit pie, and crossed her paws. But despite her hope for luck, it had missed. She had 36 laff points, but that had been reduced, now to 28. So finally, she pulled out a seltzer bottle, and squirted him in the face. Then he was finally destroyed, with cog gears flying everywhere, but that was only 1 cog to her 20 cogs toontask. She knew it would take a long while in the rain, but she never gave up that easily.
3 hours later, she had finally completed the task. So she teleported herself back to the playground, and struggled against the wind to get to Toon HQ. Once she had turned in her task, she politely asked for a new one, and chose a 'Defeat 6 Flunkies' task. She then decided to leave the task for tomorrow, as she was exhausted from the previous task. As she stepped out the door of the HQ, she saw a dark figure walking into the gag shop. But the figure was not the shape of the toon.... She froze on the spot, thinking of the worst things that could happen. She usually was a pretty confident cat, but she was scared stiff, so she didnt want to investigate. A few minutes later, she heard screams from inside the gag shop. She nearly screamed herself, but clamped her own hand over her mouth to stop herself. She wanted to help, but she did not want to be harmed too, so as fast as she could, she ran into Chip and Dale's Acorn Acres. She then hurried over to the gazebo, for shelter. Back at the gag shop, the figure crept out the door of the gag shop, and disappeared onto Seaweed Street. Something was up, but Shadow was the only toon who could help, since the rest of the toons were resting quietly in their homes...
