Awesomesauce. I like how it's different than the normal story. Suggestions: - Baby Glace's the first "bay" eon? Wha? xD - - Hrm, this story seems to switch from 1st person to 3rd person. I suggest you stick to one type, otherwise it might be a little confusing. Erm, that's all I can think ATM. xD BTW, do I have to sign up Vapy? :P |

Chapter 2
Chapter 2 already, popping out of more Thanksgiving Break boredom. Yay~
Chapter 2: Running as fast as our paws could carry us, we made it out of the northeastern trail. Before us we saw something horrible – Leafeon, knocked unconscious, on the ground. The youngest, Baby Flareon, began to cry. And that concludes another chapter. Maybe I'll draw a picture for each chapter later (As failing as they might be). =3
“L-L-Leafeon!!!” she wailed, throwing herself overtop of him. “Be careful, Baby Flareon, don’t burn him.” Said an approaching figure. “Big sister!” said Baby Espeon, jumping up on top of her. “Ah, it has been a while, little Espy.” She purred. “What happened here? Why did you call us?” I asked, unaware of the precious moment. “Leafeon… we found him over in the forest, collapsed. Apparently something got him, but we aren’t sure what.” Mumbled Espeon. “Houndooms… they’re back.” Called a figure from the shadows. Knowing who it was, I quickly jumped into the darkness, landing on soft fur. “Umbreon! Umbreon! I’ve missed you so much! I-..” Suddenly she threw me to the ground. “How many times have I told you not to hug me!? You’re worthless. You’re not even fit to be in charge.” Tears welled up in my eyes as they always do, and I tried to fight them back. She’s always like this. Why can’t she ever hug me and say “I love you”? Unable to contain myself, I hid in the always-empty den and began to cry. However, no one seemed to notice, and I heard them continue on. It seemed like an eternity in the den. The Eons wanted us to go out and try to locate the Houndooms, but knowing we were too weak, asked for us to come back and tell the location to them. I guess they needed to care for Leafeon or something. I only budged when I heard Espy say, “Hey, where’s Baby Umbreon?” Feeling better, I raced out of the den and yelled, “I’m right here!” However, I was ignored for being too far away, and the two Espeons set out to find the “missing” Umbreon. The other Eons were playing with some toys they brought. “Who wants to play catch?” asked Baby Vaporeon. “We do!” All the Baby Eons chimed in. “I get to start because I’m the oldest.” boasted Baby Glaceon. “No, let me!” pleaded Baby Jolteon. “I never get to start it ever!” cried Baby Leafeon. “You started it last time, Leaf.” announced Baby Flareon. “They always are like this,” I thought. “I wonder when they will learn..” Just then I hear fast prints approaching. “At least we found that Eevee some new friends…” A soft voice spoke. I scurried back into the den, hoping I would evade them, but it turns out the den was their destination. I prepared for whatever… or whoever… was there. What could Baby Umbreon have faced? |

Chapter 3
Yes, it's here already! More boredom lingers, so enjoy! xP
Chapter 3: It all happened so quickly, it seemed as if it wasn’t real. The stranger was an Eevee, who apparently stumbled in on the clan. This den was no longer empty – it held shelter for the new guest. She had a younger sister, a Baby Eevee, whom had gone out to play with the rest of our clan. However, she was very young, younger than Baby Flareon, and it was our job to make sure she stays safe. Someday she may become the next member of our clan. “Have fun out there, sweetie!” Eevee said with a smile as I made my way to the others. “Umbreon! Where have you been? We’ve been looking for you!” they all said in harmony. Soon they all gathered around me and snuggled close. I explained to them what happened, and in no time the search party returned. After we all got settled again, we started to plan our route for the houndooms. “Well, the houndooms seem to hang around here from what Espeon told me,” Espy said. She pawed at a nearby spring, only a few miles from here. Baby Eevee, who was lingering around us, pounced on her paw, thinking is was a toy. “H-hey! Get off!” Espy shouted. The little Eevee was thrown to the ground, and began to cry immensely. “Ooh, Espy’s in trouble…” snickered Baby Leafeon. “I didn’t do a thing.” Baby Vaporeon said. “I’m telling!” yelled Baby Glaceon, and she trotted off towards the older eons. “How can we get her to calm down?” I asked. “Well, what calms you down? It’s probably the same with her.” suggested Baby Flareon. I thought for a moment. “A nice reassuring voice…” I began. Suddenly, Baby Glaceon came back with Vaporeon. “There she is! Espy made little Eevee cry!” “What’s wrong, my little Eevee? What’s the matter? Did someone scare you?” Vaporeon asked the little animal as she curled up next to it. “But what about E-..” Baby Glaceon started. “Young Glaceon! Don’t be rude, now! I want you to go into a den until you’ve learned your lesson.” As Baby Glaceon trudged off, I began to think – how can we take this Eevee along? We can’t really do much to comfort her. As much as I hate to say it, we are almost just like her – maybe a little older. Can we handle it? By now the small fur ball had stopped crying and was snuggled up by Vaporeon. “That’s better, isn’t it?” The Eevee purred in agreement. “Better…” she whispered. “Are you lot ready to head out?” asked Vaporeon. “What about Baby Glaceon?” asked Baby Jolteon. “Oh, she’s just going to have to stay here. She needs to learn her lesson.” While all this was happening, I noticed Baby Flareon playing with a Caterpie. It looked all right. That is, until it shot a gooey spider web in her face. Baby Flareon couldn’t see, and was tumbling every which-way. In order to get it off, she blew out a tiny flame, not knowing what she was next to. No, it wasn’t a tree – it was Vaporeon. “Owowow!” She screamed. Suddenly, she started running in circles, panicking, saying things like “OOOWWWW!!!” or “Noway this is impossible!” Less then amused, I asked Baby Vaporeon to squirt out the flame on her tail. She collapsed on the ground. “Ugh…” she murmured. “I should stay and help her, you guys. You can go on without me.” said Baby Vaporeon. “Thank you, lil' bro. You’re becoming more grown-up each day.” Vaporeon chuckled. With the other eons, busily at work with caring for Leafeon, Vaporeon, and other numerous things, I decided it was a good time to head out. Startled by the accident, Eevee ran over and hid behind a tree. I came over to get her while Espeon made sure everyone knew the plan. “Hey there sweetie.” I said. “W-Who are you?” she said in a toddler tone. “Why, I’m Baby Umbreon. I’ll be helping you on our expedition.” “E-Expedition?” she questioned. “Yes, an expedition. We’ll be going to this waterfall right here.” I proceeded to take out the map and circled the area with some berry juice. “Our job is to look for some other pokemon there.” “And I’ll get to come?” I heard her voice perk up a little. “Yup. Are you ready to explore?” “You bet I am!” she said confidently. I had succeeded in simplifying out our duty for her. “We’re ready.” I said as I brought back Eevee. “Great! We can get going right now!” Baby Espeon proclaimed. With the six of us each carrying a bag of supplies (Eevee’s was smaller, of course), we headed off down the South trail. We have to be ready – those houndooms could spring up on us at any moment. Not only that, but we have to make sure Eevee stays safe. This will be our most challenging assignment yet. But the question is, can they do it? And that's all for now, :3 Last edited by Tepcat; 12-28-2009 at 12:02 AM.. Reason: Language |

ROFL. "Noway, that's impossible!"
Used to be my catchphrase~ |D Just a note: Vapy doesn't call Baby Vapy "Baby Vaporeon", but "lil' bro". :3 Interesting how at the end of every chapter, there's a "cliffhanger" question. Nethertheless~ Awesome chappie! |

Chapters 4 & 5
About the shinies... I don't think they'll get to make an appearance. I really was just planning the Eons and Baby Eons to be in it. Who knows? Maybe they will make a cameo. =). I fixed what you pointed out Kiwi, and the "you lot" thing I think I'll keep, just out of comical purposes (even if it sounds "proper"). I got into writing today, so I bring you 2 new chapters! Whee~ :3
Chapter 4: We’ve been walking on this trail for a while now, and the boredom it starting to get to everyone. Often someone stops to gnaw at a tree or chase their tail, and it’s getting harder to continue on. Even I’ve been getting extremely bored – but as one of the leaders, I must set an example for the others. Lucky for us, it’s almost sundown – time to set up our camp. Leafeon and Glaceon taught us how to make dens, so it was easy enough. I made an extra for Eevee, as she has no knowledge of how to do so yet. We all quickly fell asleep. Yet a storm was approaching – a bad one. Rain was pouring down like a waterfall, and it seemed to never stop. This is common in our land – but apparently Eevee was still startled by it. Late that night, she came into my den, through all the cold. “U-U-Umbreon…” her teeth were chattering. “What’s wrong, Eevee? Why did you walk through all that rain over to here?” “I-I got scared. I want my sister back..” she sulked. “Now now, there’s no need to cry. I’ll protect you.” She snuggled next to me, under a soft, leafy cover. She slowly drifted back into her sleep. …That reminds me, who is this kid’s mother? I mean, she has her sister, but Eevee is too young to be without her mother like that. I hope something didn’t happen to her… I thought. Soon, I too, slowly nodded off. The next morning we continued on. In less than an hour we arrived at our destination – the waterfall. Yet as we approached, it looked completely deserted. “Where could they be?” asked Baby Jolteon. “Maybe they hid behind this rock,” said a curious Baby Flareon. “Flowers!” exclaimed Baby Eevee, who proceeded to frolic through them. “Something’s not right… the Houndooms should be here. There’s no doubting it.” said Espy. “Could they have moved?” questioned Baby Leafeon. “That’s why we came here, to see if they still hang around.” Then it happened. The faintest growl – maybe a bark – I could hear it. They were here. And I could tell that it was more than one. Maybe a pack. They were approaching, getting ready to strike. “Everyone, get down!” I screamed. It happened in all but a few seconds. They came from the top of the waterfall. Flareon was captured first, as she was closest to the pack. Then Jolteon, who was eating some berries on a bush, was next. Espy and Eevee stayed close by me, and we tried to run. Leafeon was too slow, and, like the others, was kidnapped. We ran and ran and ran, ran so fast we felt like our bones would break. We had to keep running. Eevee tripped and fell, so I quickly grabbed her by the neck and continued running. When we were a safe distance away, we stopped and hid in the brush to rest. I could tell Eevee was completely frozen out of fear. “That was close…” gasped Espy between breaths. “They’re still out there... still looking for us…” I panted back. “What are we gonna do?” asked Espy. We were all alone now. We left our bags of supplies back near the waterfall to be able to gain more speed. Eevee had buried her face in my fur, shivering. Three of our friends – Flareon, Jolteon, and Leafeon, were kidnapped. By the houndooms, no less. We may never see them again. Everyone wanted to cry, but nothing came. We stayed still, motionless, eventually falling asleep in the same spot. “Those Eons were foolish to have sent such weak spies,” growled Napoleon. “Indeed. We managed to get half of them,” sneered Lucian. “But the others… don’t you think they’ll tell the others about what happened?” questioned Napoleon. “Heh… those brats will probably suffer in the cold. Even if they do make it back, we’ll be long gone by then – our master is waiting.” replied Lucian. They, along with the rest, disappeared into the darkness, carrying a large brown sack. Inside, muffled voices of children, crying for help, could be heard. Chapter 5: Dawn broke again over our kingdom, yet we were still tired and weak. None of us got any sleep. However, now with light, we have to make it back to the clan – it’s our only chance. Not only that, but we have to care for the little Eevee – she’s not used to this. “Come on Eevee,” moaned Espy. “We have to keep going.” “But I’m hungry,” she complained. “Do you have anything yummy?” “You’re just going to have to hold on until we get home, Eevee,” I said. “Here, if you’re really tired, you can climb up on my back.” Eevee took the chance, and hopped atop me. “Can you hold her?” asked Espy. “You’re pretty tired too.” “I’ll be fine… she doesn’t weigh much.” I replied. Pretty soon, though, I started to feel faint. I wondered if I could make it back. So many thoughts were swirling in my head. Without realizing, I collapsed. The last thing I heard was Espy’s panicking. Then, I had a dream. “U…br…n…” I heard a faint voice say. “Huh? Who’s here?” I said. “Umbreon…” The sound became closer. “Where are you?” I asked, careful to be wary of whatever was following me. “Umbreon.” A blinding light came from all sides. I tried to make out the figure… two tails… stubby arms… pink coloring… I could only think of one being. “Mespirit?” I asked. “Correct. Young Eon, I must ask you something… do you know where Eevee and her sister came from?” “N-No..” I stuttered. “Hmm…” she thought for a moment. “I knew it was her….” Apparently lost in her thoughts, I asked her, “What are you talking about?” “Nothing… nothing you need to be concerned about.” she whispered. The same light guided her away, and I awake to an Eevee, just about to pounce on me. “H-Hey! I’m awake! I’m awake!” I yelled, barely avoiding the attack. “Umby!” she squealed, rubbing up against me. “Good thing you’re awake,” I heard Espy say. Before I could do anything, I immediately told Espy about my dream. “Mespirit… came to you?” she asked, puzzled, “Yes. I don’t know what she has to do with the little Eevee though.” “Well, we need to get going again,” interrupted Espy. “You were conked out for a while. It’s almost sundown.” Trying to focus on getting back home, we continued forward. We made it back with only a shred of daylight left. Leafeon and Vaporeon were now healed. Seeing the poor condition we were in, they knew something was wrong. They gave us some food and water, and then everyone gathered around the campfire for a meeting. We discussed about what happened and what we should do. It seemed to go on well into the night, as the fire had to be replenished several times. Finally, we ended the meeting on an upbeat note. “Tomorrow all Eons will go searching for the missing youngsters. Knowing the houndooms, they probably have escaped and migrated from the waterfall. Vaporeon and Flareon will go north, Glaceon and Jolteon will go south, Espeon and Umbreon will go east, and I will go with Eevee west. The remaining Baby Eons are expected to stay and guard the camp. That is all!” announced Leafeon. That night, permanent dens were made for each of us. I guess we’ll be hanging around here for a while. The Eons went and got all of our remaining supplies from our camp and brought it here as well. As soon as everyone was settled, we all went into our dens for the night. Yet I still couldn’t sleep. I forgot to mention my dream to them – and what Mespirit said. It was too late tonight to do anything else. I knew I had to get some sleep for a long day tomorrow, so I shut my eyes tight and went to sleep. I wish I could see Mespirit again and ask her more… Will the missing Eons be found? Will the houndooms come and attack again? Will Mespirit’s true intentions be uncovered? And will Vaporeon ever get a ham sandwich? Stay tuned! And thanks for the comments! xD Last edited by Tepcat; 12-28-2009 at 12:06 AM.. Reason: language |
