Timer Bug

Has anyone else noticed the timer has been werid lately? Its happened to me a few times where it stops but we still had 15 or so seconds left.
Ex. Battleing cogs
Someone chooses a gag
Timer at 18 seconds
Closes gag panel and person uses gag
Cogs attack
Is it just me?
It sure is annoying

Yeah, I should probably report it, because I don't know if they know about it. Its also just causes trouble. How would I describe it though?

It's lag. The client and server timers are not synced up, but what the server says goes in this situation (this is a general rule in most MMOs, but Toontown skimps that in some areas).

Here are the things I have noticed about the timer bug.

1. Timer does NOT show gag choices. OR only shows one person's gag choice. OR shows a gag but not which cog they have chosen.

2. Timer continues to count down after everyone has chosen their gag and which cog.

3. Timer counts down and doesn't let waiting toon/cog join and the battle begins.

4. When cogs are lured the battle will "skip" a turn even though no one has passed

And these have been happening very frequently just recently. When I say frequently, I mean that with the exception of a couple sets of cogs yesterday, at least one of the above happened everytime, while in the DA office elevator D.

The most annoying of all is the first one I listed. It causes a lot of stinking b/c you have no idea what the other person has picked or which cog.

Also I was playing with another toon in the same room as myself so we both know we didn't pass at times and that we DID in fact choose a particular cog even though it did not show on the screen. VERY FRUSTRATING. I hope everyone who experiences these bugs report them so TT can fix the problem. I have already submitted one report but will continue to do so until fixed.

Oh yeah this happens to me a lot of times when I am in a crowded district. Nutty River is the most annoying district with the timer bugs even though it's the invasional district.

Yeah it is annoying, but it is the best district for invasions and finding people to boss battle with

Disney is likely to simply tell you to play in a different district. Ever notice the warning that appears these days if you attempt to move to someone in a full district?

The frequency of this bug has increased more in the last couple of days.

Yesterday I did 2 CEO & 3 CFO and in everyone it had a timer problem.

Again its probably down to the amount of people TP into the district.(NR)

The only way this will stop is to stop people TP into a red district.

Then, the invasions etc will spread out to other districts and the load
will balance better and gameplay will improve.
