Here's a suggestion: Re: The latest Crashing Problem

If you are still having difficulties...contact customer service and ask for compensation...like a free months service...I told some of my sf ..the ones who stayed on line long enough to call in and ask for it...and they got it. They should have all the bugs removed and tt up and running without problems by now...but it isn't...people are still getting booted. ..The only major upgrade they did...was bbhq and for as long as it took to get tha puppy up and running..It should've been operating smoothly...From what I know...going in as both my toons...they still have a lot of work to do. Btw: I wasn't clicking on anyone's details when I got booted...All I was doing was standing in front of the dollar mint...and in some cases...running down the street...geez...hope they fix it soon. Adding this: I now get booted when I try to send friends gifts....wow!! What next? Almost afraid to say that. I think that's funny. Running the latest and greatest PCs and OSs doesn't help....and i have plenty of RAM. *To ask for compenation in my case....is not about the money...its about principle and good service. For those of you who knoe me...I am in no way s****ed for cash. I'm out!

I can understand everyones frustration; I am frustrated myself. But please, have a little patience. They are not doing this to us on purpose! As a software developer, I've been in situations many times where critical elements of programs fail, and the fix is not always straightforward or timely. Believe me, there are developers out there right now downing gallons of mt. dew who haven't slept for two nights who are trying to repair the damage to toontown. Apparently they are unable to roll back their latest changes (or unwilling due to toon data loss). I do not think they will give you a hard time about reimbursing you for time lost (as any network service must when outages are possible), but I also do not think it will make the repairs come any faster. Give them a couple of days to sort things out, and work around the crashes (or play other games) in the meanwhile.

Ive noticed quite a few friends login, then disconnect/reconnect multiple times. I bet they are trying to find friends in nutty river/summit and are crashing when they click on the friend details.
