So, a few days back I raised the following bug report with Toontown:
Bug Description I was wondering if you were aware of a problem with the camera behaviour in the VP Pie Fight? I tend to play with my view set to first-person (or first-toon) view, i.e. as if you are looking out of the eyes of the toon. I have noticed that there is a fairly new problem where, if running up one of the ramps with this viewpoint, the camera-tilt is inverted, i.e. all you can see is the floor. This does not appear to be an issue when running down the ramp, or when using alternate view-types. It also means that it is near impossible to continue to operate in this view (when trying to stun etc.) and I have to fumble about changing my view until I get off the ramp again. Please test this and advise. It could just be something to do with my specific graphics card (ATI Radeon X1300 on latest drivers), but I suspect it is more likely a bug in the programming that inverts the camera with the expectation the toon will be facing as if to run down the ramp, not back up it. See you in Toontown soon! Thank You Good, eh? I'm somewhat bemused at this response, but anyway.. I was wondering, has anyone else experienced this particular oddity, or is it just me who plays in "first-toon" view when doing the VP battle? ![]() Rivn. |
