You will need to turn it off until the upgrades are on your comp. Then you can turn it back on

Thanks for the prompt response but I'm sorry. I don't understand. What upgrades? Are they upgrading toon town and that's why I can't get in? Or do I need to do an upgrade of something. I tried uninstalling it but now I can't reinstall. It still gets stuck in the same spot.

So you haven't been able to play at all today either!!!! Very frustrating when I can't satisfy my addiction (LOL). I submitted a bug report early today but haven't received a response yet. I thought maybe someone in here would have a quick answer. Thanks!!!!!

Sounds to me that the problem might be on your end. Call your ISP tomorrow and see what they changed. Disney has nothing to do with your firewall. Like you said in you post, your firewall is handled by your cable provider.

I had a similar problem
The way that I was able to get back in was:
in internet explorer, first go to the TT site, when it stalls, go to the address bar, right click and copy the address, then go to tools (on toolbar), click internet options, then click the Security Tab, then click on trusted sites (to highlight trusted), then click sites, in the box add this website to this zone, right click and paste (this will place the address you copied into this box), then click add, if there is a check in the box stating require server verification ... , then uncheck the box, then click ok, then click ok. You might be able to relaunch Toontown after that, it worked for me on TT and on the test site, nothing else worked and even Toontown couldn't help me. Good luck! Jim.
