Emotional Problems

I have a couple of problems with my newly-acquired emotions.

1) I like to sleep in the elevator, but when I do, my head sometimes gets stuck pointing to the side after we get out and start fighting cogs (crick in the neck, I guess). Try it.

2) Sometimes all of my emotions are greyed-out (can't be selected). Don't know what causes this, but I know that it lasts until I restart TT. Of note: I bought shrug lessons.

Are these things happening to anyone else? Any suggestions (from qualified emotional therapists) are welcome. Please be delicate (considering my emotional void and lack of sleep ).

Thanks.

Ve all experience dese problems, yes? Unlike real life however, you can solve your toon's emotional problems by logging out and back in. Dis is de only vay dat I know off, yes?

-----------------------------------

A mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer, and a "software engineer" commute to work together. One morning, the car refuses to start.

"I know what the problem is," the mechanical engineer says. "The engine's run low on oil and the pistons have frozen up. It's hopeless."

"That may not be true," the electrical engineer says. "It's probably just that the spark plugs aren't firing. If we replace them, that will solve the problem."

The software engineer says, "Why don't we all get out of the car and get back in, and see if it starts then?"

You are exactly right...

But I don't have a staff of top programmers standing by waiting to fix the bugs INSIDE my head... at least as far as I know...

I too have noticed toons in buildings that seem to be stuck looking left. It's really creepy when you're the one directly to their left!!!! Stop looking at me!

Me, paranoid? Huh?

Here is Lisa's response to my bug report. Sounds like they already have it solved for the next patch.

Dear Toontown Guest,

Thank you for your bug report. We are currently looking into your
problem. All players will receive this fix in an upcoming patch that
will be automatically downloaded and installed when released. We
appreciate your help and patience in resolving this problem and hope you
will enjoy your time spent in Toontown.

Thank You,

Lisa

Don't know what causes this, but I know that it lasts until I restart
TT. I can select any other speedchat item and it works (except the
emotions don't play with their associated phrases). The problem
continues whether I am moving or stationary and seems to persist no
matter where I go. Of note: I bought shrug lessons.

Thanks for your excellent work on this phenomonal game.

I agree, the looking left thing is kinda creepy. I've seen my toon get stuck looking to the side, and I've seen other toons get stuck that way too.

As for the emotions, I've sometimes had mine greyed out, (and not when I was dancing on the street or something like that), but I found that if I clicked on them anyway they actually worked. Mine have never stayed greyed out until I logged off. I've noticed this most when I've been on a factory run and they usually come back a fight or two later.

And Zowie, I wouldn't hold your breath for the fix. In my experience that is their standard response to a bug report. They *will* eventually get it fixed and it *will* eventually download it to all of us.

I find that on my toon, if I can hear someone (ANYONE AT ALL) dancing after a battle, i cant use a single emotion.
