I love this game, truly I do. I've been playing for just 5 days. I love it despite some truly horrendous technical issues that have me restarting the game or my 'puter, sometimes several times an hour. I wonder if anyone can give any advice with these?
I'm running with IE 6, Service Pack 1, on Windows ME. My machine has 256 Mb RAM. I'm connecting via DSL. Here's what's been happening to me: 1. Spontaneously minimizing. Sometimes, usually within a few minutes of starting TT, TT spontaneously minimizes and my desktop appears. If I restore TT from my toolbar, the screen is black. I have the toon-hand cursor. I can hear things, and from the sounds of footsteps, it seems like I can move, but I can't see anything. The only remedy seems to be to quit TT. 2. Freezing on new scenes. Very often when my toon enters a new scene, the screen goes dark. Nothing happens. I wait. I wait. Sometimes I get a message saying my internet connection has been unexpectedly broken. Sometimes nothing happens at all, until I run out of patience and quit TT. 3. Sometimes I can quit TT with Alt-F4. Sometimes only a cold restart of the 'puter works. 4. Freezing in battle. This is the worst one, of course. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. What happens to other Toons if I freeze up in battle? Does the timer just tick down, and my Toon does nothing? It must be annoying for the other Toons. I'd greatly appreciate any help with these issues. Also, is Disney Tech Support any use?

I had problems similar to that recently...
Make sure you have the most up to date drivers for your graphics card... I reinstalled DirectX 9 and redownloaded MacromediaFlash. After that all ran well. Make sure you aren't running anything in the background that might interfere with the game...shut down as much as you can and leave systray and explorer running. I had lockups when I was running a weather thingy Lol...when it connected to update the temperature I locked up.
