hmm

i had this same problem. what i did to fix it was i simply ran windows update(in the start menu), and installed everything. if that doesnt work, try deleting your cookies or temporarily setting your security level on low. i'm no computer expert though

You have to run IE6 for Toontown now...
Go back and redownload it.

What are your system specs? IE6 is faster especially if you have your security set to low.
Have you defragged and scandisked lately? Toontown really frags your hard drive so I do that daily, as well as dumping all my temp files and cookies.
Also a good idea to run Adaware6 to remove spyware, that can lag your system as well.

Optimizing performance fo Windows

There are tools out there that change the windows default settings (LAN) to the more realistic settings you need to run games that transfer large amounts of data:

Check out the following web site:

http://www.speedguide.net/

It improved my performance for a DSL connection using Windows XP Professional.

Read the FAQS, find a tool that makes sense for you, make sure you back up your current settings.
