how do u put it in window and how do u become a HQ officers friend?

To put it in a window...

1. Close Toontown and Internet Explorer if it's running
2. Start -> Programs -> MS-DOS Prompt (win98/ME/2K) Or:
Start -> All Programs -> Command Prompt (WinXP) Or:
Start -> Programs -> Command Prompt (WinNT4)
3. Type "cd c:\progra~1\disney\disney~1\toontown" (without quotes), press enter
4. Type "configrc -windowed -save" (without quotes), press enter


As for making friends with HQ officers...I think the devs are playing with that, my son has gotten their stats, and got the message that they have too many friends, it seems to come and go.

i dont get it, what do you mean by 'put it in a window'?

Instead of full screening, the game opens in another IE window, so that you have access to your toolbar and can do other things while playing toontown...

If I have a run around task...I have to street guide open to see where the places I have to go exactly are, or I'm talking on icq, check email or this site for posting of invasions.
It's quite handy.

Probably just go thru the same set of commands but enter fullscreen instead of window....

I downloaded something a while back from ttc that made it possible to play in window here and in test.
