Security Alert glitch?????

Does anyone else get this message as you log on to toontown to actually play when it goes to launch toontown....
The alert says this:
Security Alert!
"You are about to be redirected to a connection that is not secure.
The information you are sending to the current site might be
retransmitted to a nonsecure site. Do you wish to continue?"

Now this is the only site that does this to me. And my security level is set to the default medium and I use IE (latest version). Before the update that caused the bank bug I never got this message and now it wont load the toontown launcher untill I click "Ok".
Anyone have any ideas how I can stop getting this "security alert"???? Thanks

I have been getting that every time I log on for a long time. I just hit "yes" and toontown works normally.

Yep, I always get that too...
I just click yes and continue.
I think you may be able to turn it off in the internet options...under the advanced tab, security.
I never tried let me see if it works....

*edit*
Nope, I unchecked everything under security and it didn't stop...hmmmm.

You can turn that off in Internet explorer although I don't recommend it.

The option that causes this warning is in:
Tools->Internet Options->Advanced

At the bottom is "Security", that last item is "Warn if forms submittal is being redirected". Default is checked. That is best, since under some conditions the contents of the "form" (i.e. username / password) could get redirected to a nasty place. ooo!

Just a note, in my humble opinion, this is a big reason why so many security problems come up. Some sites that you need to access, like banks and Toontown, require that you permit actions to access them that would be risky on general sites. It would be much better if the folks who design those sites had the moxie to make them work within the parameters of acceptable security.

In other words, ooo!

Wow! Thanks for the info Dale( my toontown comrade and pal, hehe) and rcv! I dont feel so annoyed now about that little box pooping up now. Now that I realize it isn't a "bug" but for real security purposes.Especially since I do bank and shop online, the contents of a "form" (i.e. username / password) could get redirected to a nasty place. oohhhnooo!I don't need that to happen. Thanks!!!!!

no big deal

I never thought that it was any big deal. One click and you're on your way. Don't compromise on security!

Going through TT withdrawal as we have been busy painting many rooms in our house, and right now the computer is inaccessible!
