Sound Stuck?

It is mostly in Donald's Dreamland... the sound tends to get "stuck" (for lack of a better word" on one note and if I turn the music off in my Shticker book, the note is still there. I can't just log out and back on, I actually have to close the whole game and bring it back up again! This is very irritating but as long as I keep the music off, no problems. Problem is, I know I am corny, but I like the music! I miss having it on... very dull. Anyone able to help?

Unfortunately this is an old problem even with the newest sound cards and all the revs to TT. I think its called out in the FAQs. I usually remember it after my daughter has played and I play a toon who's been in Dreamland. I usually turn music off and listen to what I want. A Toontown update will default to music and sound back on.

Rats. I was hoping it was a setting w/i my pc that needed to be tweaked. I don't know if I'm glad that it's not just me or sad that there's nothing I can do about it!!! Thanks for the info.

Nope this is a widespread, problem thats been going on for over a year maybe since start of game. It also effects people after a VP or CFO.

Best Idea is to play windowed with no music(u can keep sound effects on, advisable if you wanna hear new builds arriving in busy dists)and use a mp3 jukebox to play your favourite songs, I personnally use winamp and select a radio station, saves selecting songs to play each time.

It starts in DDL, and when there are "rising" sounds it adds to the bug! Ive had my music off all the time.

I just HATE it!!! Whenever it happens, sound off for a week!
