Angry Device Failure Messages?

I am so sad. Lately, when I play Toontown for longer than an hour... an hour, people... The screen will suddenly go black and I will get this message from Windows:

"Windows has detected, and recovered from, a device failure. Please save your work and restart the computer."

When the black screen goes away, the computer is in Safe Mode and looks awful. I have to reboot to get back into normal mode.

Is anyone else experiencing this?? How serious is it? I'm afraid a year and a month of zealous Toontown playing has ruined my hard drive... is this possible?

More details: HP Pavilion 514n, Intel Celeron, 256MB RAM, Windows XP(Service Pack 2).

The problem started a few months ago (before SP2, and before the big upgrade to Pajama Place) and now seems to be occuring more frequently. I'm not sure just how often it would happen, because once it does happen, I refuse to play TT for a few days... I really can't afford to replace my hard drive if this game is going to make it fail.

Also, should I report this to Disney? What should I say?

Thanks,
A Sad Toon (MacKenzie)
