ToonTown Installer Bug
Ok, when I go to toontown.com, log in, then go to the installer screen (with the seltzer bottle) and its stuck at "STARTING UPDATE...." so when I try to dissconncet theres this window that says:
"Program is not responding. Attempting to close" and when it fails: "The program is not responding, to close this window click end now." Is there anyway to stop this bug? You can PM or post here, thanks. |

I experianced that before. I just gave up on Toontown till I went on another computer. lol. Sorry, I'm not much help.

that happened to me.
you might have pop up blocker on if so turn it off becuse toontown is a pop up same for operation best on www.cartoonnetwork.com hope this helped you

Well, I have NO IDEA if its that, I haven't had popups recently. Also, I have Operaton B.E.S.T running RIGHT NOW. So I guess its not that. Anyone have any other suggestions? Please hurry, my secret friend dosen't want me to miss Halloween today.

Ok, here are the following ways we have tryed to start up ToonTown. Do not post these ways as they don't work:
Firewall -Changing your firewall so it dosen't block stuff. PopUp Block -This dosen't work. I have no PopUp block on MSN. AOL I think, but still ToonTown works on AOL, or it USED to. Operation B.E.S.T does too. Reboot -I have rebooted and still ToonTown doesn't load. Different Connections -I tried AOL, MSN and IE and nothing has worked. Virus -No virus infecting ToonTown. No virus infecting my computer. I haven't noticed anything different lately. I did a scan and nothing has come up. Uninstall -Two words: TOO RISKY. I have TestToonTown and yet with the new movie it isn't downloading. I recently heard that Open ToonTown has the same clip. If I am wrong. Either PM or post. I don't care which. NEWS FLASH: It isn't my system, I just scanned for viruses and nothing has infected anything on my computer. Anyway, todays the deadline. My friend wants me to make a black cat. So, I need a few more suggestions before 12am. Maybe not 12 though. But I need to figure out this bug.

Its either pop up blocker, the comp,a bug,anything similar to that.

NEWS FLASH: I have recently uninstalled/reinstalled ToonTown. It ended up with the same fate as my TestToonTown. I just ordered the CD though. I have a few questions too. The questions are posted in the Tips, Tatics & Q's section. Thanks to everyone who tried helping!
