Toontown Loading Failure!!Help!!

I Found out that my Norton internet Security is causing Toontown to fail when downloading the patch. It will not allow me to play Toontown unless i completely disable my internet security. How Can i change my settings to allow Toontown to work. ```````````````````````````````````(Toontown does have access to the internet) `````

Are there any other settings that may be in my way of playing? This has not been a problem until the new patch came out. Up until then i was able to play toontown with no hassle

The new patch may have caused your firewall to block TT, a change can cause the firewall to not identify it. Check your settings and make sure that your firewall is set to accept TT.

I've also got Norton Internet Security, but mine prompts me whenever there is a new version of tt to download and asks if it's ok.

I would be very uncomfortable running anything on the internet without my firewall in place.

A window will pop up on my screen when tt attempts to download the new version and asks if it's ok for tt to access the internet. As long as I'm there to click on "allow...." the update downloads just fine.

I just checked and my firewall level is set to low.

Perhaps this will help some of you.

Ill give you all a suggestion. Get Windows XP SP2, it has all sorts of bug fixes, features, etc. Microsoft said that it runs very different from SP1. SP2 has a pop up blocker for IE. Much more secure. Built in new, Security Center, including personal firewall. RTM 2180(final) was released a couple days ago. And it is free. Go to neowin.net to find out a lil more, they were where I got the final version 2 days b4 it was released to the general public. Oh yeah, it also has a totally rebuilt wireless program(main reason I needed it) I never get disconnected now. So uninstall Internet Security and download SP2.

Or, if you dont want SP2, I think that Norton is blocking a port that toontown goes through. Ask Disney what port Toontown runs through, and Ill walk you through opening that port.
