Toontown's gone completely WEIRDED OUT

What's up with this. It's Toontown .. completely WEIRDED OUT!!!

Yeah, toontown is a really slow and laggy game. I've tried out Final Fantasy 11 and their servers can hold ~1000 people at one time without any noticable lag.

This is HORRIBLE... it's not that I'm seeing a "weirded out" TT, but rather everyone keeps getting stuck... it's enough to keep me away from the game.

All of it is happening to everyone. I was in a building and the game pauses every one minute after the toon are done attacking the cogs. People get stuck in elevators,people get stuck when trying to though doors,People just randomly freeze when they try teleport somewhere,and sometimes my toon just keeps controlling himself.

Toontown is really laggin bad then ever.

I am in Screwy Park right this moment and nobody can get through the doors to cog headquarters. What is the deal? Are the servers just going to completely crash or something?

Also there are no cogs here and no cogs coming in or out of the Headquarters, nor are they flying down from the sky.

Ever since the "Hollywood Cog" contest, players have gotten back to playing their toons so their addiction starts all over again because they then saw the Fluffy thing on the homepage! Thanks to that contest theres atleast 120 toons in each district! Just imagine how crowded it will be when Funny Farm comes out!

I really think it is more because of the new commercial. There are over 700 in the Welcome Valley District (only TTC and no other neighborhoods).

disney sure did make a smart move with that commercial. imagine if all 750+ people made an account. disney would be able to buy new servers, thus be able to reduce lag for all others
they may even be able to buy better comps and hire more people at the studio, to reduce the time in between new stuff released

They create the game using state of the art linux/windows computers, so the computers arent the problem. The servers started to act up like that after that server stability update they did. The problem is the python 3d engine they use(panda3d) it doesnt do the job well enough.

If they would ever listen to any of my suggestions I would tell them to take the time, and make their own 3d engine. Like every other MMORG out there.
