[UK] The British Bugs
The British Bugs
  • Looks like you can't secret chat on the UK server yet
  • Also, credit card details don't show up right (the last four digits shown on the site don't tally up with the card's last four digits)
  • The sound master needs to work on the website. The music is chopping (ie. badly managed).
  • Toontown Offers never loads. Just stays at 'Loading...' It's also not selectable from the Quick Navigation.
  • Some quick Navigation are in Red, others are in White (no indication why!)
  • Release Notes are blank
  • Free radio and frisbie - for quarterly and six-monthly customers. What about those who subscribe annually?
  • Newpaper has "Data loaded, image space" which looks AWFUL! Can't close the newspaper by clicking on the red cross (duh!)
  • Can't click on Software Updates filing cabinate
  • Can't click Hot Deals in the Tourist Information

Okay, workaround available. If you select chat with chat switched off, any browsers open won't remember the allow chat feature. When I closed all the browsers down, reopened a new session and edited my account, it finally kept the setting. phew!

SanderDolphin in your sig it shows you holding 6 of the 6th gags.Can you hold that many of the 6th gags in UK? You can only carry 3 in the us.

Sorry for the confusion. The 6 represents the 6th gag, not how many I'm carrying. The servers are identical (to the extent that Disney have now transferred over my characters )

But seriously, I'm sure you play the very same way. I think others have mentioned that the UK players are using the same servers as the US players. I'm sure someone will correct me if I have that wrong!

After signing in, it's idential to the US servers in every detail, aspect, gag, cog and tasks. Not only that, you get to play with all the US toons, and neither side knows whether you are on the UK or US server. In fact, they're likely to be one and the same.

The only difference is the web site and the signing in page.

Oh... and you can't sign on the US site with a UK password and vica-versa.

Well, teething should be over for the UK site, but still a couple of problems...

Software Updates page still doesn't work.
Accounts page doesn't remember some settings
Play button has badly coded MAP co-ordinates
We're still showing "Missing: Fluffy" - so much for nice updated news

and, most importantly, I DIDN'T GET MY MEMBERSHIP PACK.
All I got was a welcome letter, but no stickers, no trading card, folder, nothing!!! And that took 3 months! I've been had!

And so much for the "Receive your exclusive members monthly newsletter"

Here's a new glitch/bug: Make a new Toon, when you go in the tutorial Toon HQ, near the stairs, it looks like there is a strange white-ish light.
