Keep getting disconnected.....

Ever since todays 'maintainance' I keep getting disconnected every 5-10 minz with this error...

Now...before anyone says its my connection.....or ISP......3 of us play TT from 3 different PC's and we all get disconnected at DIFFERENT times since todays 'maintainance, and we dont all get disconned at same time....2 can still be playing while one gets disconned...We were fine before today.

Anyone else got this prob and know anything bout it???

I've had the same problem this morning since the update. And I've tried 2 computers and have it happen eventually on either. I lasted as long as 40 minutes at best and as quick as 5 before getting the boot. Same error message - the window with the actual toontown game disappears with no warning.

In case this is related to their new "windowing" feature, I do play on both computers with the smaller window option (set up a long time ago using tips from this board).

I was disconnected twice in one hour with the same error message. I sent a bug report so that the technicians are aware there is an issue. The more people who send them, the more info the techs can use to help resolve the problems.

I also notice a huge lag in the game, even in more empty districts! I have never seen my computer respond so slow to this game. Before the update this morning, I could play in the busiest district without much lag.

Also I do not have a choice to play in windowed mode in my Schticker book on the Options page. I just use the configrc.exe command to run in windowed mode (although usually i run fullscreen) but question why that part of my book is not updated.

The other problem I saw was that last evening I visited Affordable Goosebumps in TB and got a toontask to defeat three 4+ story cash buildings. I helped defeat one last night. When I logged in this morning, my toontasks said I hadn't visited Affordable Goosebumps so I had to go back there and get the same task all over again.

Anyone else have these problems?

I have been booted in different districts. All in HQ's. I receive the same error and have sent bug reports.
Last night I went to vp, received my promotion and Sos card. I needed 3 parts and 3400 merits. This morning, when I logged on, I was still the same level cog I was before vp and full. Lost my SOS card too.
Disney needs to do something. I won't go into vp until it's fixed, why bother, I keep getting booted..:-(

I got the boot too. That's not the big deal. The restore last night must have been HOURS old.

I was leveling a new toon. I had worked it pretty hard for about 5 hours. I had 11 tasks towards toonup, the ability to carry two tasks, and 23 Laff. I also had about 650 jellybeans.

Today I have 19 laff, 414 jellybeans, and only 5 tasks completed towards toonup. Ouch.

Sure- i've spent more time than that trying to complete 1 part of the lil-oldman final task - but this toon was for my daughter and friends to play this weekend. They like to have toons with toonup to play together. Now it's probably not going to happen.

That happened to me a lot even before the update. Have you tried re-installing Toontown? I heard that fixes the problem. I'm going to try that

Me too! I went on, and it said. "The internet Connection has unexpectly broken from computer." Kept trying. No progress.

Rockin' Rabbit, this is an old thread! They were talking about this in May. Need to start a new thread about this or find one. There are alot of DOS attacks today.. many sites having problems. I havnet read anywhere why this is happening yet but we're bound to find out soon.
