Just got booted

I was right in the middle of a cog building with RomeoWhiskarZap and his wife when I just got booted! I got a notice that everyone in that district was being disconntected and I still can't get back on.

Anyone else having a prob?

read this news item on the TTcentral main page, I downloaded the new ttwindow.zip file and got right back in

EDIT: The Play button is now working correctly

There has been a change in the startup parameters provided by the Play button on the official Toontown page. It will NOT connect to the account server properly.

Until they fix it, you CAN play Toontown by launching with one of the shortcuts in TTwindow.zip .

If you don't trust me, you can also launch with your own command line, Click Start->Run-> and enter

"C:\Program Files\Disney\Disney Online\Toontown\Toontown.exe" -OO "http://media.toontown.com/toontown/" "gameserver.toontown.com" "https://account.toontown.com" "0" "-pickbestres"

Just copy and paste the line in bold

We got booted too

We realized pretty quick that it was the server when we tried to log back in. We were hoping that *you* didn't get stuck on top floor alone! Glad (I think... hmmm) that it was a mutual boot.

hehehe Don't take this personaly but the second I got booted I thought "oh man I hope they got booted too, so they don't think I'm some flake that just ran out on them"

I bet we didn't get credit for any of the cog we got in there did we? When I finally got back on *everything* laff points, JB's and gags were at zero

Silly was also sad when she got back on. I was down 30 laff, but still had all my gags (well, the ones I hadn't thrown anyway). Strange. The only thing I can think of is that it keeps the battle going for awhile until the rest of the server went down / was reset and I got lucky they didn't target me as much.

I got booted from the same thing, i need to beat 10 Legal Eagles, and my group had beaten 11 already, in a 5 Story building i was all happy... and then i chose my Birthday Cake Gag, and for some odd reason everyone dissapeered, The dumb server died


I heard they were doing some maintenance a couple days ago.
