Open stickerbook in VP battle

I had an extraordinary bug occur tonight during a VP battle. The first round was fine, and while waiting for the second round I opened my sticker book to check whether I had the toon to be rescued. While my book was open, the second battle lineup started. I clicked the arrows on the toon dialog with the book open. When I closed the book I was lined up for battle, but my toon could move. However, I couldn't select any gags. The gag selector would come up, but if I selected a gag, it didn't work. It also would not let me select SOS. However, after the second round ended, it allowed me to get and throw pies.

My apologies to any who were with me during the second round. I was as frustrated and annoyed as you. Your "you stink" comments are understood, but there was nothing I could do.
