Whats with these Toontown PPL?

My little Chicky has been stranded with 93 laff for over 3 weeks now, and I have sent numerous emails to these ppl, and today I finally recieved a reply:

Thanks for your recent email. Your toon seems to have reached the end of
the ToonTask system as it stands. We are planning to add new content
periodically. Please refer to the following web pages for more info on

?????? The end of the ToonTask system??? I just want my laff. Haven't they been correcting laff problems? And I specifically let them know that Chicky is a test server toon, so someone can't read too well.

Yes, they have fixed this problem in the past, I will copy the e-mail I got on 1/24/2003 to prove it. This is not right, if it is good enough for one then it should be good enough for everyone. I think you should demand a recount. Isn't Disney in Fl?

"MeBear" to only have 93 Laff Points after working through the test
server and have adjusted your Toon to have the proper 100 Laff Points.

The reason you are only getting "Just For Fun" tasks is because you have
(quite efficiently!) worked through the ToonTask content we have
released at this time. We plan on releasing new content on a regular
basis, but do not have a firm date at this time for the next update. As
we have new features available, they will be released on the test server
first for testing and player reactions, so we hope you will stick around
to see what's new in the near future.

hehe. buggers aren't they. I reported my bug three weeks ago - how long you waited?

I have heard zilch. My test toon is in DL and is already

- bugged on laff (finished Oldman2 with 54 Laff)
- bugged on JB jar (completed "carry 200" jar stops at 120)

And hey! I'm not complaining - other toons have JB jars that stopped at 50 - this is to do with the most recent update but I have had nothing from Disney despite ten bug reports from me...

Wow, I thought my problem was laffbugged. But nowI find out "My real problem" is just getting ANY response !! lol
3 weeks...... Guess I need a betty addy to send my problem than just the bug reports and customer service.

Kinda odd, when I took the Toon from one account, wanted a second, they responded real fast.............strange. I am curious if I wanted another account they trade me for my laff points ??

Hehehehe....just got an email saying they had made a mistake and had not looked on the test server. Chicky's Laff should now be fixed

Lil Scrat is stuck at 96 and waiting. I sent a bug report and email about 2 weeks ago along with an email. The email was responded to with a request to send a bug report. A few days ago I resubmitted the bug report.

My bug is on LE and has anyone had a toon fixed there yet?

3 bug reports for Goko (test servers) in the last 3-4 weeks. No fix, no acknowledgement of report, nuttin, nada, nix... I am getting paranoid!

Test servers are great in theory, but there is no place for communication with the devs besides the bug reports - and these are not even acknowledged. Players are getting nxt to no feedback from the devs so the test servers just end up as another place for toons ro play. The 'Known Issues' page is not being updated for each update of TT on test so this page is useless and I dare say the devs are getting lots of repeated bug reports.

I hope all this is because the devs are too busy putting new content together to answer/reply/fix reported problems with toons and ToonTown.

P.S. Didn't LE finish yesterday (per letter from Disny that some got)? I would presume the current toons carry on and the servers stay the same, but I can't find any thing that says TT is now fully operational anywhere on the Disney sites.

I've been curious about this, since it has never happened to one of my toons.

All the people who are 'laff bugged', is it that you were never offered tasks for more laff points at all? Or is the case that you always chose the gag track tasks instead of laff, and once you got all 15 gag tracks, you went to final gag training and couldn't pick more laff tasks? If it is the second case, then you may have less laff by choice.

On test there is a series of toons (I think the ones that stared at the start of the new test servers) that left the different areas at significantly lower laff than usual. Gnurk on test left DD at 26 laff and is on Lil's at 54 or 56 laff now. We just didn't get offered any more laff tasks per PG. It's a bug that crept in early. Toons that start now don't have it.

Mind you, I personally think it's less than a cosmetic issue. I can count the occassions where 100 laff Beppo crept out of a 5st bld in DL with less than 7 laff on the fingers of one ... well ... finger

Any toon who is on the Final Gag Trak Training from Lil Oldman should be 61 laff. If you are not, report it. They will fix you, altho it may take some time, and some additional explination. From what I am reading, seems some disney support know about the problem and fix it w/o question, and some do not and tell you you are wrong. They are wrong. You should be 61 laff when you leave Brrgh, and should be able to get upto 100 laff in the current game after the 3 rounds of tasks in DL.

Disneys responses to bug reports seems to be hot and cold these last couple of weeks. They aren't responding as quickly as they usually do. I can only imagin that they are heads down on cog hdq programming and have limited resources for other projects. This is a good/bad thing .

I am amized that they haven't fixed the Jelly Bean bug yet. Thoes types of bugs are usually fixed right away. At least we can be happy that the bug isn't on gag bag, you just have to ride the trolly more often, so isn't a too fatal bug. Altho I imagin is a real pain for thoes new toons just starting out.

When I wrote Disney about a bug, I got a quick response. That was a while ago. I was also kind and not send my suggestion for additional SpeedTalk phases to the Bug Report. For things other than bugs, ie suggestions, report bad toons/names, etc use the "Contact Us" link. That brings up a form to fill out and doesn't flood the devs mailboxes with non-bug reports which should be their top priority.

My toon, Pogo - on the test server, is bugged! He is 53 laff and just about done with lil oldman! I also can't carry more than 100 beans. I sent in two bug reports about the carry 120 bean task, and still no response. So why bother trying to get them to fix the laff points. And to add to that, why even bother sending in ANY bug reports that may help them make the game better if they don't respond? Why aren't they answering us?
