Just For Fun Problem?

I'm not sure if this is something that has been mentioned here before...but since i'm confused, i thought i'd post here...

i've been on the search for the elusive Robber Baron for my toon Sly for a few days now...and since i can't get any new tasks til that one is done, i've been picking some of the Just For Fun tasks...i've never done this before, so thought it would be fun

well, i finally completed the Transparent Toon task, returned it to HQ, was told "you will be transparent for the next 2 hours anywhere but toontown central"...i then turned transparent (was very cute)...i then made the mistake of switching districts to help a friend with a building. as soon as i switched, i was back to normal and not transparent. i quick hopped back to the discrict i was just in (thinking maybe i had to stay there) but i wasn't transparent there anymore either.

i happened to have completed the Colorless Toon task right after that, and tried that as well. same thing. was colorless for a bit until i switched discricts. then couldn't get it back.

is this a common bug that i just didn't know about? was i supposed to stay in that district the whole time to get it to work?

i'm not sure what i did wrong...if anyone has a clue, please let me know...thanx

til then, i'm still searching for robber barons...

IIRC, others have reported this same problem here on the boards. I think you should send in a report to Disney. It doesn't say "for the next 2 hours in this district unless you change districts".

This also happened to me lately. My 'Small for 24 hours' and my 'Invisible for 2 hours' both went away when I changed districts. I thought this had been fixed in an earlier patch, but it seems to have returned.

That's a shame, I also thought that was fixed. Hope you sent them a bug report, they owe you some fun tasks!

yes, i sent a bug report right away...hopefully i'll hear something back soon, but who knows?...would be fun to be transparent and colorless for more than 2 minutes...in toontown, that is...lol

Yep. Just lost my "Big Toon for 30 days" after 20 minutes.

Sent flame to Disney. Not hopeful - they tend to ignore bug reports these days.

The same thing happened to me, I took the transparent task and minutes later, to my surprise (after switching districts) i lost it!
