HORRIBLE lag?

I have been working my duck today, and I have been laggier than I have ever been! I can barely move around in TTC, and I just am not used to this. My friend said she has had bad lag too, but I looked in the book and almost ALL the districts are green. I guess ToonTown is just busy today? Anyways, I am not asking for solutions, I am just wondering, has anyone else been experiencing more lag than usual?

Hey! Well, Alot of people lag due to the amout of "newbs" that are created EVERYDAY. Eveyone I know(inculding you xD) Lag in TTC! So don't worry.

No no no. New toons have NOTHING to do with this. It's something to do with the servers. I can't water my plants without waiting 3 minutes for it to react. I get the "The server is temporarily unavailable, still trying..." and 2 minutes later, i see my garden in the top right of the screen, and a small glimpse of the "zero zone".

Coming from a person who knows about lag oh too well, since the lights showed up on all the trees, I started experiencing lag much more frequently. I can't speak about yesterday specifically, however another thing I noticed is when I am around another toon or toons that are having lag I seem to get affected. "Technically" speaking, I'm not sure how, or why, it's just something I have experienced.
Since I know I CAN'T possibly be the only toon in Toontown that is a perpetual lagger, I would say alot of toons are having the same issues. If you combine all that, then unfortunately you and the other toons who normally had no lag issues may be having some now.

I have had some lag issues these past few days. Initially, I thought it might be because I had Firefox open while I was playing TT but even when I exited Firefox the lag issues continued. I hope they get fixed up soon.

I have not been experiencing lags but I'm sure it's BBHQ. Sometimes, you may never know if there working on something while YOUR playing. Just report it on the Report a Bug page and it should clear up in hours.

I've had horrible lag for the past month or so. Makes it hard in the CFO
I thought it was my computer, so I did a system recovery yesterday. I was also thinking I may need a new ethernet cable.

If they re working on BBHQ and testing it, it is issued in there own PRIVATE server only availble to the DEV's of Toontown.(bescause since they MAKE the server's they must have their own to test things) And when Toontown goes down they probably use these server's incase someone dosen' get d/c'd(very very very very very slim chance of that)

Also,BBHQ would go to TEST first, so why would OPEN people have lag?

Here are the factors

Either your internet is bad connection("Can't currently connect to the sever right now" pop-up)

Or your computer is slow(lag)

Crowded(lag)

Those are the only three factors I know that can cause lag.

I found lag very bad last night. I was in a DA, and it was weird. Someone was a few seconds behind the others on every battle. We made some funky gag choices because of it.

I remember last year it got really bad, but then about the time TT stopped people jumping in DDL, it got better. I hope it doesn't get that bad again.

I was online once when the server was messed up. It was weird, every district was blue or green, even nutty river. You couldn't get into the doors, and they were all blackish. This one dog got in a building, and got stuck. He was yelling: "Help! I'm Stuck! Help!". It was really laggy. Maybe the server was having problems when this happened to you?

If you're playing TT for more than a couple hours, your computer probably needs more memory or whatnot. Try restarting your computer and that will help alot, however this will not completely get rid of the lag especially during busy times because the servers are just not perfect.
