Disconnection

I haven't played TT in awhile and the last time I tried, I got disconnected rather quickly.
I tried yesterday and I got disconnected right when I got on and then I got back on. Then, at the beginning of the crane fight in the CFO, I got disconnected again. I got on again to play today and got disconnected about three times so far in a 20 minute period. I'm afraid to do anything at all because I feel as if I'll just get disconnected and that work will go down the drain.

When I used to play actively, this never happened to me. I was able to play for hours and not have any problems whatsoever. I also play other online games as well and I never have any problems with those, just some lag here & there but that's pretty normal. My computer's three years old and works pretty fine.
Anyone have some advice?

When was the last time you really could play? It could be because Toontown has gotten alot more crowded. (I'm saying this because I see you joined in '04).

Try clearing your computer's cookies.

My Mom usually ends up cleaning out my cookies once a week. I guess you could say I actively used to play perhaps.. maybe early this year/late last year? I'll try my cookies right now.

I've been on for about 10 minutes or so now. Hopefully cleaning out my cookies did the trick. Thanks. [:
EDIT: Froze, then disconnected in a mint. >_> If this keeps happening, I'll just cancel my subscription to TT.

Did the requirements change or something? o_o I'm also not too sure about my computer's specifics.. I'd have to ask my Mom and she's not here right now. Is there any way I could check without having to ask her?

Try that while I'm searching for the requirements link.

How'd you fix it?

EDIT: Country, those things don't really apply to my situation.

It took a while to load once, after that it's been like 3 minutes max.

Where exactly is Tools? o_o

I can't really do the computer requirements until my Mom gets home.. I did e-mail her at work but she's busy. So hopefully something else will work.

Check out the Fix For Broken Connection thread. Since the release of AA, some people have begun to have connection problems where they didn't before. Port triggering might help if you are using a wireless router.
